This evening, I brought my car here for a wash and interior vacuum. The vacuum worked fine. Afterward, I pulled into the washing bay and deposited my $3 to activate the spray hose. It activated, but no working soap. So I rinsed for the 4 minutes, then moved my car to another washing bay. There, I deposited my $3 to activate the hose. It activated, but again, no working soap. This time, I turned the knob to activate the foam brush for some soap. The brush released water, but no soap foam. So I rinsed for another 4 minutes with the hose. This also happened the last time I came here for a wash. But then, the 2nd try for a wash with soap in another bay worked. I've been getting quick car washes off and on at this location for over 30 years, because it's the closest self-service wash to where I live. But I'm done.

Bad bad car wash. No soap in the washer. The customer service number is never answered and the mailbox is always full. They stole $4 from me plus my time and effort.

At least 3 settings not functioning on dial and it is difficult to discern which setting you are actually on. Management doesn't seem to care.

Decided to come here as I typically use self car wash. I thought people were just complaining about it because they had to do it themselves. This place is a hassle and I spent 25-30 to wash my car. First off, change machine doesn't work so I couldn't vacuum my car. Second, the knobs are off by one. So I thought I was doing pre soak turns out I was doing the tire cleaner. Third, water pressure is terrible. I had to go over the sections 5-10 times to get the soap out. Overall, I recommend people to avoid this place and find another or pay someone to do a hand car wash. This place is not worth the hassle, time, or your hard working money. I hope this helps someone.

Equipment isn't top of the line or anything but it worked for what I needed it to. Pressure washers don't have an accurate nozzle so it's harder to be precise with where you're spraying. Vacuum had a long hose and good suction, foam brush didn't scratch my car up as much as other places. Looks like they clean them fairly regularly. You get your moneys worth

Should've payed attention to the 1.5 star rating. Card readers don't work, the selector isn't calibrated so you can't tell which mode you're in, AND the bay I used was out of soap. Yes-- A car wash that doesn't have soap. The sign says see the attendant or call a phone number but there's no attendant and the number is a cell phone with a full mailbox, so I just stared at my wet car for 8 minutes. What a joke.

This is the only self-serve place I've been able to find, but it's gone downhill fast. The card readers don't work anymore, and who wants to get a roll of quarters? Usually some sketchy types hanging out too...no, I don't want to buy your eastern European bootleg DVD's.

So I have been going to this car wash for as long as I can remember and yesterday may be the last time I will be going here. I had no problem washing the car and vacuuming but when I tried to purchase towels the machine took my money and did not give me any towels. I tried calling the phone number listed for problems and the mail box was full and not accepting messages. When drying off my car I saw a person tidying up the lot and asked if he worked there and he did. I told him the problem and he said that I should call the number listed. I told him the mailbox was full and all I wanted was my $1 I lost. He said that he could not do that... He also said he did not have keys to the room where supplies were kept. Really? He works there but has no access to the facilities? I am calling BS. I texted the number and have heard nothing. A brand new car wash just opened on Oakton (Classic Car Wash) right by McCormick which look a lot nicer and also offer free vacuums so if I do not hear anything from the people who run this wash I will be bringing my business there from now on.

There was absolutely no soap but I had already put my quarters in so I had to use that stall. Spent $6.25 on that. Then went to buy a sham to dry my car and it definitely took my quarters but all were sold out. No attendant on site. I called the number and the mailbox was full....shows they don't actually care about the quality, just collecting money. $7.25 down the drain - literally.

Pathetic. Had to go elsewhere after the credit card system was offline and the bill changer didn't work. It about to put a $10 bill into the wash at machine. Why do I almost expect this of Evanston businesses?

Went back a couple of weeks ago and 3 of there bays were out of order and the bay that said was working didn't work the hose had no pressure and ended up wasting way more money that I had to. This car was has unfortunately gone down hill since the new owners took over.

Beware and see their other reviews. Paid for the wash and after doing so, found the brush attachment was damaged and the car wash didn't even spray soap!!! Only pressurized water. JOKE

Save your money or go somewhere else. Water pressure is so low, you will have to hold the hose an inch away from your car to get any dirt off. My car has looked better after moderate rain showers.
