I have been using Suds for a year with the was pass. The last 3 times have not been acceptable, and have gotten worse each time. Not wiping down the trunk hatch edges, streaks on the windshield, leaving bugs along the full front bumper, leaving a number of leaves in my front wheel vents and along my windshield under my wipers. I have an expensive car, not truck, that I keep very clean in the first place. I'd like them to pay better care like they used to. If there are still dead leaves in places on the car, bugs on the bumper, etc., was it properly washed?

They do not use micro fiber towels which caused visible scratches across my car.

I’ve learned that it’s good to wait a bit to do a review, like try it 2/3 times. My 3 rd wash here…….very HAPPY. Jovanni(not sure if spelt right) the manager - man of few words it seem but when I ask for little things I’d like done when having my car cleaned was very receptive of my ask…..I appreciate you Jovanni, I say this because I can go somewhere cheaper but I’ll pay as long as I’m satisfied & service is good.
They are fast, always seem well staffed to keep the lines moving & your car is CLEAN.

Even the dogs are welcome to kick back and watch the crew get their car all nice and clean. Still the only place we bring our cars to give them a bath.

Good place for a hand car wash. They're very thorough. If mybcar needs a really good cleaning both inside and out, this is the place to go.
Note--on weekends especially Saturdays, there is usually a long-line of cars waiting to enter.
I try to go at off time during the week. If you have the flexibility that I have waiting is minimal.

This is the best car wash I’ve ever seen. This is my must come place for my friend’s car and mine when we are in Evanston. The workers are nice and do a great job. Very professional. I love watching my car get done! Definitely recommend this!! $26 for washing this small size SUV inside and out.

I have been coming to Suds for over 20 years. They are a hit and miss car wash and for the most part I am ok with that. It’s $25 for a midsize suv and one has to be practical about the quality for this price. For the most they do an ok to adequate job. However, I went on Fri 13th and they just failed. It was not even busy because it was kinda rainy day and the weather was not all that great. My car needed a cleaning inside and outside badly. I was not expecting a $200 car wash but I was expecting them to get the dirt off the rugs, to get the foot prints off the dash my kid left behind. There was dust still all over the place. The pictures I left just do not show how badly they did. I normally do not leave reviews but I took a few days to think about it before leaving a review. Again my expectations are realistic for $25… but this was well below pair. I have to clean it, again because it’s still dirty. I know this is a tuff job but just a little extra attention then I would have been ok.

On May 31, 2025, I visited this establishment for a standard car wash and initially experienced no issues. However, I noticed a small piece of dirt overlooked during the service and courteously requested an employee address it—a minor ask, or so I thought.
To my astonishment, the manager confronted me aggressively, boasting of his 30 years in the industry as if my simple request was an affront. His inability to handle feedback professionally was matched only by his failure to ensure a thorough cleaning.
Rather than resolving the issue, he escalated a trivial matter into a needless dispute.
The situation deteriorated further at payment. Despite my purchase of a multi-car wash pass—made in good faith due to prior positive experiences—the manager continued to treat me with blatant disrespect. The owner then refused to refund my pass, effectively defrauding me.
This appalling display of unprofessionalism and poor customer service has irrevocably tarnished my view of this business.
I intend to pursue a full refund and will take all necessary steps to ensure this matter is addressed appropriately.
