As completely new to the car buying process, Tommy was extremely helpful in explaining the auto loan process and getting me set-up. The entire process was quicker and easier than expected and I was able to complete the paperwork and pick-up the car the next day! He answered all my questions thoroughly in addition to reviewing the price break-down, warranty coverage, etc. Took a nice test drive and even a buyers photos with a BIG RED BOW on top! Thank you! The entire experience from start to finish at Autobarn deserves high marks. The communication and continuity of care between team members solidified my sale and made me confident in their care. We were lucky to work with Jason Harris who treated us with respect, patience, and and seemed genuine throughout the sale. He was personable, transparent, and never pushy or "salesy". He's the only person I ever want to buy another vehicle from. Thank you!

It started cold as I had a scheduled meeting and to be fair I was 10 minutes late but I notified them and upon arrival I had to wait over an hour and apparently there was confusion about if I had already been seen. Fortunately it got better and the sales team was great, was able to answer most of my questions but particularly the important questions. I made a long trek into the office without a vehicle as I did not own one and the sales agent was helpful in guiding me with ensuring I left the dealership with insurance. After the sale was made the next team did a great job of explaining the warranty and my options. Once that was finalized it was nice to receive a gift and another brief walk through of the vehicle so that I left a happy customer. I am a happy Mazda CX5 owner.

My wife and I started shopping for our next car online and we found it here. I called and had the pleasure of speaking with Dan the GM. He was excellent at getting us started and holding the car for us, as we would be driving an hour and a half.Once we arrived, Jason Harris took very good care of us. He was extremely attentive to our needs, very patient, and sincere. He was knowledgeable about the car and was able to address all of our concerns, this made our experience very enjoyable.Finally we dealt with Chris in Finance. He also was great to work with. He was very detailed and extremely familiar with the extended warranty plans, which we absolutely went with, as they made complete sense.Once we got the car home, we did run into a small concern which I communicated to Dan (the GM). He listened to my concern and addressed it to my satisfaction without hesitation.We are extremely happy with our new car, and equally happy with the outstanding shopping experience at The Autobarn Mazda of Evanston... My family and I had a great experience working with Layla Hill on finding our 2023 Mazda 3 Carbon Edition Sedan. Layla answered all our questions, did not pressure us into making any decisions, and offered us a fair price for the vehicle and our trade-in. The entire buying process was easily the smoothest we've experienced for any of our current and past vehicles that were purchased from other dealers. I had the best experience at this dealer! I went in over the weekend and was helped by Ron, Jonathan, Tommy, & Ryan in getting my new Mazda CX-5. While the process was long, they made it painless, answered all of my questions with honesty and helpfulness, and were so personable. This is my first car leasing experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Can't recommend these guys enough!

Such an amazing experience. My partner and I just moved from Utah and we were looking for the best option out there, without any doubt our 2024 Mazda CX5 signature was the best and our sales representative Eric Fragassi was THE BEST person to help us out. Car buying is a chore (at least to me) so when we were shopping, to say I was less than ecstatic would be fair! Jason made the whole experience so easy and wonderful that I actually enjoyed looking around and purchasing my car from him!! Jason was very knowledgable about the cars, promotions and even was able to give us a side by side comparison of the other cars we were looking at. To be fair, we did shop around and it took us a few weeks to finalize a car, but Jason and the Autobarn team really did make it a no brainer when it came to making the final decision. Thank you Autobarn Mazda for making our car buying experience one for the books!!

First I just want to say that this is one of the best Mazda dealerships in town. Everyone is so nice, knowledgeable and professional. My salesman, was Tommy Pavlov and he was absolutely amazing through this whole process. He went over everything with me making sure, I fully understood the features on my car and any documents I signed. Definitely will be referring more people to come here. AVOID Autobarn Mazda of Evanston at ALL COSTS. These people are CROOKS, not professionals, and their sole mission is to RIP OFF CUSTOMERS.When I bought a used car from them, they added $4200 to the purchase price -- nearly 25% of the car's actual cost. When I informed the General Manager, Dan Drescher, he flat out admitted to me they added unauthorized charges then refused to rectify it. In what business can you steal $4200 from someone then try to "block them over email"?Other reviews say the company added "an extra $5k onto our contract." Assuming they do this to at least one customer/contract a day, they're banking $150K a month and $1.8 million a year in totally made up charges. And, individually, making personal commissions on fraudulently inflated prices. A total scam. BAD NEWS & BAD BUSINESS FOR EVANSTON.-------The business owner's response below is just... all lies. I was never offered products and never agreed to buy them -- the price of the car on the contract was $1400 above what I negotiated with a salesman, Jeff Williams. The fraudulent contract was drafted days before the purchase -- so all premeditated and intentional deception. I do have buyers remorse, I guess, only in that I dealt with such worthless people. CUSTOMERS CAN DO BETTER, LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.Below, "Michael A" claims to be both "the business owner" and the General Manager of the store -- that can't be right. Dan Drescher is Gen Manager. These people can't even get their lies straight.

We purchased a 2023 Certified Pre-Owned CX-9 with 5000 miles on it. I found the car on the internet and was interested in seeing it. As others have noted, when we arrived for our test drive appointment, we were supposed to meet with a sales manager but were intercepted by a different guy without explanation. The car we had the appointment to see wasn't even there and we had to wait for them to go get it. When looking at the car initially, we noticed the car was dirty (something was spilled on the driver's seat and had dripped down by the seat controls and inside of the driver's door), there were dead bugs all over the front of the car and the floor mats and cargo area needed to be vacuumed. Additionally, the windshield was cracked. Curiously, the 160-point inspection checklist was missing the checkmark for the windshield. So much for that 160-point inspection? Our salesperson, Micah, assured us multiple times that if we purchased the car, they would repair the cracked windshield and the vehicle would be detailed prior to us taking delivery of it. After negotiating away the $1400 clear-coat charge they tacked onto the sales contract, we bought the car with cash and left with the promise that our new car would be ready for pickup as soon as they could get the windshield fixed. We live over an hour away and we waited a week to pick up our new car, coming a full day after Micah told us it would be ready. When we arrived, we could immediately see that although the windshield had been repaired, the vehicle was still dirty. Apparently, they couldn't even be bothered to wash the car for us. Upon inspection, the inside of the vehicle was still dirty as well and there was only barely 1/2 tank of gas. No apology was made and my comments regarding my disappointment in the state of the vehicle we were taking delivery of, were ignored. Since we were transferring plates from another car, we brought those with. We noticed that there was no license plate mounting bracket on the front of the car. In Illinois it is illegal to not have a front plate. My husband asked that a front plate bracket be installed so we could install our front plate prior to leaving. At that point he noticed the general manager of the dealership in front of the car with a drill, about to screw the front plate directly to the bumper, with no bracket. Thankfully, my husband stopped him! The general manager then began arguing with my husband saying there is no difference with or without the mounting bracket. My husband is an ASE master technician with 40 years of experience, and he knows that the bracket keeps the license plate from rubbing and scratching up the paint. The general manager said, "It's a USED car. We don't pay for a plate bracket on a used car." I said to myself, this is what our business is worth to this man. It's not even worth a license plate bracket. After several minutes of arguing, the general manager finally agreed to ship us a front license plate mounting bracket so my husband can install it himself. At that point, Micah told us the car was "ready" (still dirty, etc. but we wanted to just get going). Luckily, I said I wanted to see Mazda Connect working before I drove it off the lot. Micah was unable to get Mazda Connect to work (at this point I was not surprised). Finally, Jonathan Sammons, who was literally the only helpful person we met at the dealership, got on the phone with tech support and discovered that the previous owner's data still had not been cleaned out of the system and so my connection would not work until the data was purged, which would take several hours! I had to wait until the next day to set up Mazda Connect by myself, from home. At that point I realized that the Sirius radio also wasn't working, even though the Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are supposed to come with a 3-month free trial. Again, Jonathan tried to help with that, but he was unsuccessful. I've been told I need to call Sirius myself. I appreciate that at least Jonathan tried to provide some

The car was cleaned well but mostimportant was that a small change purse fell between the seats. It contained money which could be seen.the person detailing the car put it on the passengers seat I really enjoyed a clean car and the honesty of the worker. Also everyone was friendly and helpful.Thank you.
