If you have a painting that needs any restoration, take it immediately to Tremain Art. Steve Citron is a master at restoring a painting to its original grandeur. I had an original portrait painting of my grandfather from 1942. During its transport to my home, a sharp object ripped the canvas. After giving it to Steve for repair, you cannot tell where the tear was originally located. It looks pristine after Steve also cleaned the years of accumulated dust and grime from the canvas.

A most excellent place, a joy to visit. It feels like home, not pretentious, everything down to earth, but all very beautiful, very high level, meticulous. Steve does world-class work. Steve and Simona are a joy to work with. We had paintings framed and restored and bought art from them as well. Steve’s restoration skills are superb, along with his ability to pick out the exact perfect frame for your picture. I had three oil paintings restored here. Incredibly good experience! The newest painting is at least 100 years old and the oldest is between 170 and 200 years old. They needed work and they came back looking amazing. Details were revealed that had been hidden for decades. They also repaired the corner of a frame that was badly damaged and had to be remolded. You cannot see the repair. These people are true, enthusiastic art lovers and they treat your paintings the same way they would treat their own. Trust these folks with your most precious artworks...you will be thrilled with the results.

I had a piece of art that no one else was willing to work with due to the previous framing material but Stephen did so enthusiastically and was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly from start to finish and we now have a beautifully framed piece thanks to him. Brought a structurist relief in that was made by my great aunt (Aspasia Voulis) because over the years it had gotten a little dingy. I was so worried both because of the 3D nature of the art and because of the significant sentimental attachment but Stephen assuaged my fears and did an INCREDIBLE job. The piece looks good as new. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I first walked in to Tremain with a wonderful piece of art that was gifted to me that had been ruined by the shipping agency delivering it to my home. In just my first few minutes spent with Stephen reviewing the extensive damage, it became clear that I had come to the right place to repair the piece. When I came to the shop to pick it up I was in awe as to how Stephen had converted a mass of broken pieces and framing into the beautiful piece of art it was prior to the damage.Stephen's attention to detail and his work in restoring the piece to its original pristine state has now allowed me to have a wonderful piece of art hanging on a wall in my home that gives me great pleasure. I truly do not think anybody else could have pulled off the miracle that Stephen did. I am ever grateful!

The owners, Steve and Simona, are wonderful humans who happen to also do lovely restoration, framing and more. They were very busy when I frantically entered their shop, but they interrupted their work to help me with a project that no one else could do. The work they finished for my family was lovely, and their care and concern was above and beyond anything I could have imagined.

Outstanding job! I brought in a piece that had been rolled up for a long time, really dirty, and slightly damaged. I originally was looking to have the piece framed only but Steve consulted with me and suggested a few options. And OMG, I’m so happy I took his advice! He refurbished and framed it and now it looks absolutely stunning! Steve is extremely talented, professional and, courteous. He walked me through the entire process and and even gave me progress updates. Overall, I’m very very happy with everything and would recommend TremainArt to anyone looking for quality framing and art restoration.
