“We ate at the new restaurant, Smoke and Kettle. The place was packed, which tells a lot about the Beast's reputation. The fish was good and look forward to returning.”

“This place should not have 4.2 stars. While the service and food in the restaurant is good, the building is in serious need of renovation, and you'll definitely need to check your pillows... ours were old, covered with sweat stains and old blood stains. The kind front desk guy replaced them with nice new ones when requested. Can be good for a quick stop but you won't want to stay here long until the owners decide to invest some money and care into the property.”

“I was at the U for several events. Seeing the outside of the building gave me an “awe” feeling. Inside , the brightness of everything drew my attention. Other attractions were the wall decor, the beautiful clean restroom and the sparkling chandelier. I had a wonderful experience and with no doubt I would return again.”

“I would like to first start by saying that Sunnie and Valerie are two of the most professional people I have met. From the day I reached out to them communication was great. They both listened to my vision, asked questions, responded timely to emails and was patient when I had changes. Not only was my vision executed to perfection but the additional details that Sunie and Valerie added to incorporate my daughter’s personality was top tier. Her Sweet 16 was a priceless moment that even brought tears to her eyes when she walked in to see the final results.I can’t thank them enough for giving me a piece of mind during the entire process and I look forward to booking at their venue for future events. Five stars across the board!”

“The website had a lot of great detail and pictures. Can we put a price range on the website? Did I overlook it? I will keep an eye out this summer for events this summer to attend. I see they have a few listed.”

“We needed a venue in a very short time (4 days) and Tim went out of his way to accommodate us. He was very flexible as we couldn't give much of an estimate regarding attendance. The venue was just just the right size and much classier than the back room of a bar or tables squeezed together in a restaurant. The food was delicious and ready when we got there. The service was excellent. And the price was very reasonable. If you are looking for a place to have any kind of social affair we highly recommend you visit Tim at Bellecourt.”

“The Sanctuary on Main is a small intimate space that is ideally suited for weddings. On Sunday mornings it is home the Metro Community Church! Come as you are for a warm welcoming experience where people want to move closer to God, each other and the disconnected. Service is at 9 AM with uplifting music and relevant biblical teachings. Don't forget your kids... There is an outstanding Metro Kids program for infants all the way up to the 5th Grade. If you've never been to church or it has been a while come check us out on Sunday mornings!”

“Getting Better. Old Herald Brewer & Distillery started with a lot of positives and has evolved, getting better all the time. Everyone can find faults and recommend ways that the businesses can be better and management probably realizes most of the little problems. Old Herald evolves and we celebrate that. It is fun to see what they do next and keeps us coming back. Yes, some of the stuff we miss and hope it comes back, all we can do is say what we like and what we don't like.... Like the tiny plate for their awesome Chicken & Waffles, or that Old Heralds unique "Coalsch" beer, a cousin to the German Kolsch Beer, is no longer on the beer menu. BUT! There are several unique and awesome mixed drinks that everyone who enjoys mixed drinks should investigate. They change stuff so fast that their web site can't keep up, but it seems the Facebook page does. I hope they keep up the good work!”

“First time going was for Glo Bingo fundraiser for our child's marching band. Very fun place! Large facility. Wish the bathrooms had paper towels instead of blow dryers.”

“5 stars isn’t enough of a rating for this business. From the first contact and throughout the whole process, the owner was very professional and accommodating. Venue was beautiful, clean and spacious to accommodate my event. I am grateful to have stumbled upon Imperious Celebrations & Decor. Definitely will be booking again in the future!!!”

“I would like to take a minute to tell you how pleased we were with your facility and staff at my husband’s retirement party this past Monday. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us and told us it was the perfect venue, how nice it was, and sadly, how many did not know you rented venue space. Allie and Terrie were great to work with and very accommodating. I have had people tell me it was the best retirement party they have ever attended. I believe that is because of the venue. Thank you to all who made this a great experience.”

“Big shout out to Grand Marais Lighthouse restaurant owner, cook, and hostesses on yesterday (January 14) for opening their doors to accommodate my sister, Georgette's birthday dinner. Were they was going to close because of weather, staffing and shortage of food due to a big party the night before they opened their doors for us. Food was delicious with only 1 cook, service was exceptional with only 2 hostesses and they got all our orders correct in a timely matter. I thank you for your hospitality and everything you did to make our eating experience great. Can't wait to get Soul Food Sunday back because my church, North End M.B.Church, 463 N. 88th Street, E. St. Louis will be there again. Oh I'll be there for some good Jack fish this Friday too. From a satified customer, Stephanie”

“I attended the Sunday evening bingo. The upstairs is the only place open for bingo. No food is offered. I enjoyed the games and the employees and players are friendly. They are only offering bingo every other Sunday night to get a handle on the number of players that will attend. Hopefully they will resume it every week. If you attend bring you own food and snacks. The offer fountain drinks and some alcohol I believe.”

“Thank God there are still places like Silver Creek that bother to put a band on stage. So many have failed to -"bounce back" from the covid shutdowns, and this place gives a sense of normalcy that has been gone for far too long.Thank you, Silver Creek!”

“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Weingarten on 9.29.23. The ceremony site was incredibly beautiful and couldn’t have been more perfect for our small, intimate ceremony. The grounds of the venue provided space for many different photos for the photographer to capture the most amazing shots. And the reception in the party barn was perfect for our guest count and the type of atmosphere we were looking for. I’m very happy we chose this venue!”

“My go-to restaurant in the area. Always a very solid choice. Very good food, great sushi options, wonderful atmosphere, and I've enjoyed all my interactions with the staff. My only complaint is that the non-sushi menu is somewhat small, but the items are good so it's not a big deal. I would definitely recommend their salads, I've really enjoyed everyone that I've had. The horseshoe is also nice.Kid-friendliness: While kids are welcome in the establishment, it is a rather close space and the kids won't have much room to play or run. If you bring kids, hopefully they are mild tempered or easily distracted by whatever you bring.”

“Enjoyed the food, waitress was good. Issue with the young lady that greeted us on 1/23/24 ~730PM - "You can seat yourself and let the hostess in the back know where you're seated" Wait, WHAT? Why are you asking the customers to walk to the back and tell someone where you're seated vice YOU (employee) telling the bartender/waitress that you have customers in the front dining area. The food was good, waitress was nice, issue was with the young lady doing the hosting/greeting, TOTALLY inappropriate!”

“Forgot to take pics but we got the pork sliders and burger sliders, along with the chips and salsa/queso. The chips could feed a small army. Burgers and pork sliders were great! We were with a big party and the service was still pretty good. Ambiance is a big room with kids running around everywhere, beer being poured by the tap (husband loved that!), and random parties everywhere. The games were fun but a little expensive for my taste. I say that because I have a 3 year old and he wasn't picky with how we swiped the card. May be a better spot for older kids. I'll go back and try more food for sure. (And I'll take pics next time too!)”

“Rooms essentially are really good. My room however didn't have an icemaker in the fridge and there is no icemaker available otherwise. No breakfast provided while all the surrounding hotel do. So for price and the amenities in a room it's very much worth it.”

“We had a very enjoyable afternoon. The food was delicious. I was a little set back to their price of tastings. $2 for an ounce pour. Overall, it was a nice day.”
