“I have been going to the Lizzadro Museum for many years, but this was my first time to the new location. The site is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the new layout and displays immensely. So many breathtaking things to see! I was very interested in the information about the specific fossils & minerals to find in Illinois. I appreciated the features that made some of the displays and information more accessible to children. I was there with 2 young boys, and they enjoyed it a lot and can't wait to return... especially to the gift shop & all the treasures to take home! ;)”
“There are a lot of cute shops in Lincoln Square, but this one is my faaaaavorite. It’s a little further south on Lincoln (near the Davis). I love all the local art.”
“A group of friends did a mosaic class last Wednesday evening at Nathalie Studio. The owner and her husband guided us all through our projects for a three hour class. We had a ball and ended up with a fun mosaic to bring home. They also teach stained class, reverse paining and so many other disciplines which we may do at a later date. Thank you Nathalie and Uri!”

The wares in the store are really good gifts to yourself or to anyone who has an artistic soul. Last time I was there, there were eye-catching denim jackets with painted backs and dresses in really interesting prints. People should just hang out there.”

The classic games on the 2nd floor are always fun to revisit. Staff is friendly and informative. “The team at Osio-Brown Editions makes awesome digital images of my artwork for reproductions and merch on my website. I love the 8 x10 proof prints that you get with each artwork that is photographed and the care and handling of my originals. The first time I used their services was about 10 years ago and they were awesome back then. I recently used them to photograph more art and get a few giclee prints for my family. The finished qualities of the prints and the digital image files were stunning. Adam and his crew know exactly what us picky artists require and expect of the finished product and services that we purchase with our hard earned money. She naturally cultivates a warm, supportive learning environment. The students who have specific interests build upon their skills and learn new techniques as they improve. Other students experiment with different media. They begin to develop their strengths and preferences. No one is ever discouraged from trying something “new.”Sam’s comments are never criticisms. They are suggestions, instructional tools and explorations of strategies meant to inspire.”

“David is one of the most unique people I know. I first visited his gallery back in 2023 with my best friend--and he gave us a wonderful tour of his space (over 30 years on Paulina, by the way). I have a very specific taste in art, and I was immediately draw to a collection of Marc Hauser photographs--one specific one. David took it out, let me observe it in a different space, and allowed me to appreciate it. He let me know the price, gave me some purchasing options, but ultimately, I didn't buy it right then and there. David also didn't pressure me to buy it--I understand the humor behind David's intentions, and he always let me know if it was still there. After a year, I purchased it, and still love it and appreciate it every time I pass it in my hallway.”

Lots of great perfumes and oils as well as supplies for whatever Craft you practice. Also loved the sign on the door (the ICE keep out sign) as well as the Santa Muerte in the window.”
