“We had a wonderful weekend at Hawk Valley. The location is perfect- just a short drive from Galena and set among the rolling hills and fields. The gourmet breakfasts were amazing with fresh fruit, pancakes, sausage, cinnamon rolls, etc. I highly recommend Hawk Valley if you’re looking for something quiet, relaxing and romantic.”

“Great spot for an anniversary getaway! The suite was bigger than anticipated from the pictures. Loved the views from the screened in porch, a must IMO if you’re headed to Galena and want to enjoy the view without the bugs! Service was great, everyone was kind and room was clean. I’d say pillows/outer bedding could be updated but if you’re driving in bring your own pillow and you’ll be fine. Room had everything we needed and more. It was very quiet in the room and peaceful. Just a short 10 minutes to downtown Galena so you could get to things but also a great retreat away. We only used the included breakfast one of the mornings but that was a great touch delivered right to the room. Also loved the cookies each day and predicted weather report. We also ate at the restaurant and had a delicious experience, absolutely outstanding food.”

“We had dinner here, just a day away from the kids to relax. We've been to Galena several times, but never eaten here. Shout out to Kyle L. for being an exceptional server. The prices were high, but that's to be expected in a tourist town. The food was fabulous, and the service fantastic. We will be back.”

“We stayed here while visiting Galena for the Hot Air Balloon Race, and it was such a great experience. Beautiful property, peaceful atmosphere, and gorgeous lake views. We enjoyed taking walks around the resort and just relaxing.
The room was clean, the towels were fresh, and everything was well taken care of. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. If you’re planning a trip to Galena, I definitely recommend staying here. It made our weekend even more memorable.”
