“The younger girl and older woman that were working that Saturday were both very helpful. I almost left the store and went somewhere else to buy shoes, until the younger girl checked to see if she could get what I wanted online. While she did that the older woman sold me on a different pair. They worked well and it was like they knew what the other was doing .. and I knew then that they were both trying very hard to make me buy from their store. I liked that they tried that much harder when they didn't need to. I'll go back because I know that this store's employees will work with you and try to do the very best even if they don't have the size or color or whatever you need. They could use a raise too, but I know the powers that be wont want to hear that. Companies should know when they have quality people that are capable of making sales before those individuals go somewhere else or in a different line of work because of a say $1hr raise. Galesburg doesn't have many shoe stores that are affordable. Just please, management, think what it was like when you were in their shoes,? because someday you was/or could be.”
