“Charming little Cafe with plenty of character. The outdoor patio is tucked away from the street and very quiet. Beautiful setting with mature trees surrounding it. Plenty of delicious options on the menu. The quiche was delicious and the salad even better. Attentive service to top it off. I recommend putting your name on the seating list and then browsing the bookstore while you wait for your table. A unique experience.”

Super cute and unique, an experience as well as a shop-there are enough books to find something interesting and novelty items to make it fun!! You can even walk up the stairs into the window display for local author picks and seating. Pride-friendly and Aurora nostalgia. We loved this place!!!”

“I go to Aurora University and the book store has always been reliable and helpful. Expect a few minute wait time as there are only two registers and students are always buying things, but also expect a wide array of products related to AU. Textbooks, however, are expectedly not cheap and are quite pricey, but the bookstore offers new versions, used versions, and ebook versions of many textbooks.Try taking a look at the AU bookstore if you are looking for a specific textbook for your classes, or if you want to support AU by buying branded merchandise like planners, shirts, etcetera.”
“A unique little spot! Less than 400 sq ft but filled with books from floor to ceiling. Lots of old titles that give the place a cozy, nostalgic feel. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re downtown.”

“I'm mixed on this. I've had excellent experiences getting solid recommendations from people on the floor, then I go through the checkout. They actually charged me for a used Barnes & Noble bag we brought in as a retail bag. One we've had for years. They asked if we wanted to put the books in the bag, but it wasn't until later that we saw they charged us! Isn't that the point of these bags? Reusing?”
