Manager is very rude and discriminatory against Austic person call me
Incompetent which I have on tape and refuse to
Accept my deposit stated I have to go to another branch because they don’t accept in branch deposits and I have it on tape.

What a terrible customer service at the Geneva branch, I walk in right after they open, just need it a temporary card because mine got cancel for fraud. They ask me to wait for someone to help. Waited and waited and nothing. I understand if there’s a lot of people, but it was only me and another guy. I ask the lady and she said she was busy. Obviously I’m closing my account!

Be careful and know your rights. USB employees are very helpful and try very hard but they do not provide advice with respect to how to structure beneficiaries or transfer on death. I got burned but I own it. Otherwise, they are a great local bank that focuses on the customer. Great app!

Don't even come to this location. To make a simple transaction by the drive through the wait is insane. Always understaffed.

Trying to resolve my Father’s estate and pay his bills. Went to the branch to see what they needed and they locked up his account. They told me to my face “We do not accept wills”. Why have a legal will when companies can just ignore it. May just need to sue them. I am beyond angry and will be looking to move all of my accounts including business out.

Why can't you speak to a banker when you dial the local number? I've called 4 times..no answer. We are long time customers...where's the customer service?

The last time I went through the drive up, I had to wait longer than people who arrived after me. I'm pretty disappointed in the service I've received these last couple of times I've been here. This used to be a good branch, but management has really let this place go downhill.

There is a reason the reviews are bad. Took off work to take my mother who had a 2:00 appt. 2 hours later still couldn't fix issue. This is the worst bank. I have ever dealt with. Incompetent. Don't bother making appointments. They don't keep them. A quick appointment wound up being a three hour visit. The banker needed to be talked through every step

If I could leave not a single star, I would. Workers are not trained to be adept at their job. Have no idea what customer service is about. Maybe the most mundane reptitive tasks are an accomplishment, but US Bank Geneva branch leaves much to be desired. They don't like being called out for it.

Been a customer for roughly 20 years and 9 years at this Geneva location. I've had nothing but good service when I've needed it. 99% of my banking is done online or with the app. The app is super easy to deposit checks. Have done a couple of home equity type loans and they were fairly straightforward and easy. The website is solid as well. The employees have all been friendly and receptive to my needs.

Today I went in to this US bank location to close an old account. Carmen, the teller, was rude and standoffish from the start. I explained to her what I wanted to do and why I wanted to close the account. She turns to look at me and asks “so why do you want to close the account?” I stared at her blankly thinking she was joking but she was serious. I guess she was paying 0 attention. So I kindly explained the situation again. Then she spent 5 minutes typing away on her keyboard in silence only to tell me I needed to make a deposit and come back tomorrow to close the account. I said I wouldn’t be doing that because it doesn’t make sense and requires another trip to the bank. I tried asking her why US Bank could charge me fees but wouldn’t let me close the account but I couldn’t finish my question both times without her interrupting me. I asked her to please let me finish my question before she tried to answer. Apparently upset by this, she told me to leave the bank and go to a different location. I asked for a manager and he closed the account in minutes. When I attempted to discuss Carmens terrible customer service with the manager, he brushed it off and changed the subject. Being the immature person I am, I walked by Carmens desk on my way out (which was on the way out. I didn’t walk of my way to be a j**** to thank her for her outstanding customer service and let her know the account was closed.Don’t use this bank. Try the State Bank of Geneva up the street. Better rates and customer service.
