“I’m very particular about the animal stores I give good ratings to. In all honesty this is the only pet store in Illinois. That actually has good practices. Their set ups are gorgeous and most of them are bioactive if not all. They advocate for good husband first and foremost before trying to sell you a pet. I will be supporting this business in the future!”
“Was looking for a limited ingredient puppy/dog food. They had what the Vet said to get. I was concerned about the size of the bag (I wanted something small in case he didn't like it) but they let me know that if I or the puppy didn't like it I could return for a refund. Turns out the puppy loves the food! Thanks!”

“I knew, when I made the appointment, that this would go well because I was asked detailed and relevant questions. This groomer is careful about dog interaction and their vaccine status.My dog is a 40lb Belgian Groenendael. She is not easy to groom. She gets a shield of matting after a while. After her groom, I can feel every inch of her skin. She is so soft! And beautiful! I highly recommend.”
“This place was great I went in to bath my large dog. The young lady was very friendly and hand me towels, and thomas show me how to use the shower for my dog. Glad they have a self wash area for dogs. Reasonable price.”
“We found this great place to bathe our Beagle. We’re 80 so trying to bathe him at home is hard and dangerous. Here he walked up the ramp and into the bath. Great friendly staff and super convenient to use! Would highly recommend it”
“Super friendly people, cool animals. Had a spicy kitten when we visited and it was noted on the crate. Just kinda funny. Rabbits roaming the store, that was cute. Some exotics, turtles, bearded dragons. Beef cheek non rawhide chews, dogs loving it right now. Got the blueberry one. Friendly staff as well. Nice place to visit.”
“The dog food I’ve been using for years for both my dogs that have allergies was recently discontinued (Inception fish recipe), so I went into our local pet supplies plus Lake in the Hills looking for a food without their allergen ingredients.
I had I believe his name was Teddy who helped me. We went through quite a few bags of dog food looking for the right fit.
Will be back to purchase more food

“Petco is great, I prefer them over PetSmart in terms of variety of products. They are a little more expensive but their pet care plans are pretty cool and help offset costs.”
“First time trying out their dog wash today.I'm very Happy I did! it's very clean, the staff was super nice and accommodating. I like that they have raised wash areas and grooming areas to dry the dogs, good water pressure, hoses that you can change the stream and decent dryers. They supply some of the different shampoos that they carry I did try their sensitive one and so far it seems to have caused no irritation for a very sensitive skin dog. I like that they supply more than one towel like some other places do.
Tractor supply company is a little gym in Carpentersville that I often forget about and every time I go I really like it. They hire friendly staff and it's always clean and they have a lot of variety.”
“Been using Petco in crystal Lake for a few years. Jane was our wonderful groomer and when she left we started going to Mikaela and she has done an awesome job with our two pups! She’s always happy and friendly and efficient with lots of great feedback and tips. The dogs always look amazing when we pick them up! Fair prices and love the reward program!”
