“I love everyone here! ❤ They love our pets and take good care of them. The staff are so friendly and patient, from the front desk to the vet techs to the doctors. ❤ I would like to share a specific event that stuck with me and shows the heart of everyone at GEAH: —3 years ago when one of my cats was *very* sick and had to stay overnight, one of the staff (I don’t remember who, I’m so sorry!!) took pictures of my baby and sent them to us so that we could still see her even though we couldn’t physically be with her. When my cat eventually died from her illness, the staff sent us a sympathy card— which is nice in and of itself, but the thing that touched my heart the most was seeing the GEAH staff write that they could tell that we took excellent care of our cats and loved them very much. Anyone who has lost a beloved pet will understand the guilt and the “what-if”s that stay with you for a long time, and getting that card did more to heal my broken heart than they probably realize.”

“I have a rescue dog that I love beyond words he is pushing 11yrs old and had tooth decay and gum disease I took him in for a consultation and Dr Pruss and Nicole and Lindsey and the entire front staff were amazing! The procedure was successful I asked if they would cut his due claw nails since he is super sensitive with normal trimming and they trimmed all his nails down during the procedure They also called a few days later to follow up and asked me how my pup was doing and we all know as a dog owner how important our pets are to us so thank you!”

“I was referred by a friend to this practice and I’m so impressed with the care and service we received. We drive out of our way from a distance and it is absolutely worth it. It is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful, the veterinarian (we see Dr. Tawnia Zollinger) provides excellent care to our older dog and doesn’t push unnecessary treatments. They follow up with a phone call the day after. It’s a calm environment and have never dealt with a waiting room full of other animals. Small details make a big difference- calming pheromone bandanas, classical music playing in the examinations rooms. All positive things about Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton!”

“Dr. Chang has been our family vet for over 14 years, and he has looked after all 3 of my cats from kittenhood until end-of-life. He treats both humans and animals like family, with attentive follow-ups and incredible responsiveness. During a blizzard in 2024, he immediately made time for me to bring in my cat who suffered a stroke. He does his utmost to ensure that my pets receive their medication on time, going as far as to approve a prescription when I bumped into him outside the clinic. When new conditions and treatment arise, he sits down with informative pamphlets to help clients understand what is happening to their pet, and what are the best options moving forward. One of my cats developed kidney disease, and Dr. Chang took the time to teach me how to administer subcutaneous fluids on my own at home. Thank you Dr. Chang for being their vet for their entire lives. Update: I am finally getting a new kitten, and I will be going back to Dr. Chang soon. One piece of advice I’d leave for everyone is to always advocate for your pet and to come prepared with questions, because sometimes we miss things because we were too overwhelmed to ask. But rest assured that Dr. Chang will always help you consider all the outcomes. ??”

From the initial call, getting a next day appointment, to showing up and having my pups appointment everyone has been so amazing at this place. Dr. Maas and Nico were great, both were very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. More importantly, my pup felt at ease and no signs of being nervous or distressed. Dr. Maas looked through the paperwork I had and saw something was recently completed and pointed it out to me. “Can't say enough good things about VCA Westmont. They are well managed, very professional and very easy to work with. Their app also makes it so easy to schedule appointments, refill prescriptions and pull paperwork. I appreciate that they're upfront with pricing before doing any procedures. We saw multiple doctors and they were all great. They are thorough and explain things clearly. When we had to put our 16 yo Am Staff down, they were very kind and compassionate when setting up the appointment. Unfortunately, our pet got very sick a week before the appointment and had to be put down at the emergency vet. Even still, VCA sent a card with condolences signed by all the staff. It was such a sweet and welcome gesture! I highly recommend this facility.”
