I had called before coming in. Alex remembered the call. He took us directly to the mattresses we were interested in. He explained advantages of each one. He also worked with us on our difficulties with fitting the mattress Onan antique bed. He seemed very informative. I did not feel pressured in any way. I feel Alex gave us expert advice.”

“Highly recommend shopping here for your furniture needs. They have a huge store, with many more pieces downstairs -- everything ranging from couches, accent chairs and tables, bedroom furniture, dining room furniture, accessories and pillows, and a large selection on unfinished pieces that you can stain or paint. They can also order anything from their vendors, so if you don't see what you're after, just ask! Barb, Cathie, and Ed are kind, patient, and always happy to answer questions.
They also make and sell greenhouses. We had one installed earlier this year, and it's absolutely beautiful and is clearly built to last.
Recently purchased a Craftmaster couch as well and couldn't be more pleased. We also purchased a great bedframe and an area rug, both on clearance, which really transformed our bedroom. (Definitely pay attention to those clearance tags because you can find some great deals!)

“Long story short, I am a homebrewer and I had the opportunity to get to know a lot of the brewers in the St Louis area. One brewer has a specialty for making aged sour beers (Alpha Brewing) and he was selling a used wine barrel that was freshly emptied. We purchased this barrel for the unique purpose of a guest registry for our wedding. We had it signed by all of our guests, and then we cherished it for about a year. When we moved into the new house, it got stuck in storage and all but forgotten about. As big as the house was, with 5 kids living with us, there was no room for it. As we recently became empty nesters, we de idea to repurpose the barrel. A quick Facebook search led us to Second Hand Barrels. After much discussion with the owners, we decided to take the barrel to them. When they saw it, they knew it was going to be a challenge since it was a wine barrel. They took it on. After modifying their tools to accept a larger diameter and about 6 weeks of patiently waiting, they revealed the final product. Talk about two excited customers! Oh my. Now I have another project for them......”
