“I came in a couple months back with my VERY sick Chinese Cave Gecko and had a really good experience at Premier Vet Group. I have a really hard time finding vets that will take in reptiles, especially one as uncommon as this species. The outlook was not great and I went in knowing this fact, and they were honest and communicated that fact but still did their absolute best. I did end up taking him home after one overnight care session because I didn’t have the funds to continue, but the help they gave my cave gecko helped him to try his best for survival with me. I have very limited veterinary knowledge but I did what I could and now, two-three months later, my gecko is doing pretty good! So I definitely will be back for any other issues I have with him or my other reptiles.”
“My husband and I have been absolutely DELIGHTED with our experience with TOPS from the moment we walked in the door! TOPS was recommended to us by our vet, for therapy for our English Mastiff, Ivan, who has Osteoarthritis in areas of his spine, as well the joints of his legs. Ivan, at only 4 yrs old, was suffering from chronic swollen and painful limbs, and stiffness in his back, which caused him to limp and to walk only short distances with considerable discomfort. He was spending most of his day sleeping.The moment we walked into TOPS, we were very warmly greeted and ushered into a large exam and treatment room, with mats for the patient to lie on comfortably. After greeting Ivan, and ensuring he was comfortable with them (which is an aspect of care that many vets in our experience ignore or hasten through) , The Vet Tech and Vet, Dr. Christine, did an extremely thorough hands on evaluation of Ivan. Ivan's psychological and physical comfort were always considered. (Our Vet had provided radio-graphs, bone aspirations and blood-work prior to our visit.) From the totality of findings, a detailed treatment plan was devised; and Ivan was given a complementary laser therapy treatment. We have limited availability to bring Ivan for therapy during the week; but TOPS was able to find time slots to accommodate us; and they have remained in close contact with us!Since this initial treatment and some TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) herbs to add to his meals, Ivan has not been lame; has been far more active -- willing to go for walks -- trotting at times instead of hobbling along; and his psychological state has improved dramatically.Hence, we give TOPS our highest commendation!!!”
