Assistant manager was helpful with educating me on inserting my nose ring for the first time since I got it pierced a year ago. They provided education with a silocone nose and helped me pick out an l-shaped stud that was easier to insert.
Website is wrong. Go in at Kohl's.

The Gurnee Mills location has an excellent selection.
More importantly, 1 of the managers, Audrey was helpful. She explained all the questions I had about my pierced ears (not from any Claire’s) were starting to close up.

Never really enjoyed going to this store, awkward as a guy. The assistant manager was really nice and told me about all the perks for the membership which I was unaware of. She honestly made the whole experience of taking my daughter shopping a much more pleasant experience!

The store has bad costumer service! The lady who takes appointments for ear piecing seems rude. I don’t recommend this store for ear piecing anymore !

I was a big fan of the store yet the customer service sucks and the lady were very rude to my daughters when they were looking around and ask if they have certain items the lady in piercing nose was very unprofessional, she had that sour face, like she doesn’t want to be there very unpleasant.
If u have bad day please take it somewhere else or not wanting to be there just don’t throw it at someone else’s Daughters for trying to buy stuff!!

I come in here all the time and love looking at all the cute stuff! Staff are well informed on products and procedures in store. The one with really short hair can sometimes come off as rude, but they do have a pin that says ‘neurodivergent’ so they might not realize how they sound. Which doesn’t make it better, but it does kind of make more sense. Everybody has been very friendly to me, though, and I’m always pleased with my purchases! I wish there were more titanium earring options, but that’s not really store-specific.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! Very short haired girl’s on a personal phone call (seems everyone else has found her terrible as well) while I stand there forever and second one can’t find my account, use a gift card, help reset my password nothing. Biggest waste of time. Will never go back.

Took my 5 year old for her first ear piercing. No eye contact. No explanation of steps to my very scared girl. The gun jammed and then broke off while still attached to her lobe. Lots of tugging and pain. Then she dropped the earring back to the second earing and we got home with no earing backing.

I come in whenever I visit my cousins in the Gurnee area, which is about once or twice a year. I’ve watched a lot of customers come in and be downright abusive to the employees so I wouldn’t believe half of what some of these reviews say. I’ve heard people yelling at them from the Build-a-Bear across the hall because they didn’t listen to a return policy. I doubt these employees are being paid enough to be screamed at by parents over clearance jewelry. My only complaints with the store is the layout of items is a little confusing, and some of the jewelry breaks a bit easier than it probably should, but that isn’t to the fault of the employees.

Looks like I was not the only one with bad experience in this store. I don't know how this person still works here. The one with very short hair. She might be the manager but extremely rude one. She couldn't answer one simple question without being frustrated and rolling her eyes. I needed help sorting the mistake their employees made. I was not even angry, I just wanted to try and find the solution. But she was obviously annoyed by me. I am never going back to that store again.

I am so livid about how I was treated! If I could I would give them a 0 rating! On December 8th I went to the store to buy my daughter some dangling earrings for Christmas as she mentioned that was one of the things she wanted. My experience while shopping was rude employees. They had a deal if you bought 3 things. I was having trouble finding a 3rd thing to buy. I grabbed some ear buds and thought she may not want these but that’s ok we can just return them if she doesn’t and she can pick out something else. She is 6yrs old. I was never verbally told and there was no signage that earbuds are non returnable!Today I simply wanted to exchange the ear buds for something else my daughter picked out! I was told they aren’t returnable as they don’t know if they were put in someone’s ears! I explained that they were still in a sealed package so there is no way someone had them in their ears! I asked where the sign was posted that these aren’t returnable. She said well I don’t know but there was a sign! I said there was never a sign! I asked to talk to the manager as I had the receipt and the item was clearly never opened! She told me she was the manager! I said I wanted to talk to someone over her so she gave me corporates #. I left the store and tried calling which I needed an extension #! Went back in the store and told the girl this and also told her I wanted to see their policy that says that won’t take returns on electronics! She fumbled around calling 2 different people to get the extension #. Long story short I wasn’t leaving the store and the line to checkout was getting longer and longer! She ripped up corporates # and said we will do it this time only! I said ok well can we exchange it for what my daughter picked out before I was told we couldn’t return them? She said no it needs to be the exact price. I said can you show me a few things that are the same price. She told me no that I would have to look! My daughter picked something else out that was the same price! As she shoved it in the bag she rudely said this is non returnable! I said may I ask why? It was an over priced journal! She said because she could write in it and I said well if the tie is still on it then there is no way she could write in it! Not that I would return it anyway! So they pretty much don’t accept returns! I will NEVER shop at a Claire’s again!

Leaving 0 stars because the employee very short pixie cut was SO rude. I was there to have my 7 month olds ear pierced and I joked and said would you be nervous doing her ears ? And she looked at me rolled her eyes and said no? And then told me to pick our earrings. She went to the register and when she came back she just stared at me and I thought I was in her way and I said oh sorry and moved and she said “didn’t I tell you to pick out earrings?” And I said you know what Nevermind I won’t have you touch my daughter because you are being so rude. And she just walked away. never going in there again.
