“Been here a few times. The best thing about this place is probably the free parking. Its fine if youre going northbound. But if youre delivering or need to go back south, prepare to take a long detour. Not much for hot food, they sell store bought pizza and links at a premium.”
“They have the best customer service!!! I stopped in for a soda and left my phone behind. Not only did they put it safely behind the counter. They also charged it so I could call it later that morning to find it. The worker even took an extra step to make sure my phone did indeed belong to me. They are now my new favorite gas station in Chicago!!! Thanks for all you do!!!”

“Would of been a five but restroom was closed w/ out of order sign. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be an issue that Speedway Corporate is not correcting. I’ve been here a few times and the out of order signs have not gone away.”

“Last week 04/05/18 I was up in Gurnee. I needed gas & had planned on hitting the Costco in Mettawa on the way home when I saw the Shell Gas Station just east of the Gurnee mall. The gas was priced @ $284.9/gallon. FYI Shell Gas has always been my Number 1 preferred Option, but because of the huge price discrepancy I use Costco Gas. In this case it was 10 cents less then the Costco in Niles @ $294.9/gallon. Typically Costco runs 20-30 cents less then the other gas stations. The difference being one gas station is in CROOK County and the other is in Lake County. Anywho I gassed up my car at Shell in Lake County and saved a few bucks.”

“On par for a circle k and what you would expect. Didn't use the bathrooms here so can't comment on the cleanliness. It's right off the highway and gas prices are a little higher than others. Over all good experience for a quick stop”

“This has been my gas station since I have had to return to Gurnee. Attentive customer service is difficult to find in retail establishments in this area, but an employee at this gas station consistently gives good customer service so I continue to buy gas and snacks here. I haven’t been to the DD next door much but they are attentive too whenever I have purchased from there. Getting to use my Kroger points here is a huge plus and I haven’t had any issues with using my points whether at the pump or at the cash register.”
