Took my dog for grooming, paid extra for higher package. They didn't cut nails saying they weren't long enough and said that they didn't have time to finish the cut (430pm) and to bring back during a weekday when there are more people working if I want it finished. They only took $25 off the $150 package. I cut the 2 extra patches of hair off myself with a scissor in under 20 seconds. I'm sure he was frustrating somehow but Petco did just fine 4 times already. No tip for that girl and she damn well knows why! Life is frustrating sometimes, welcome to reality, do your job!

I bought three fish for my established tank. Levels were treated prior to adding the fish. 2/3 of them died within two weeks.

Went to buy crickets and no one was there. Finally found someone and said she would come help but never did. Waited over 30 minutes for someone and eventually left empty handed

Grooming staff is super rude. Told me to come back in 10 minutes. Came back and they wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. Gave up and left. I didn't feel safe leaving my doggo in their hands.

Love their selection. Very fun to go through the aisles and see all the stuff they have for my dogs. Staff is pleasant. Checkouts can get a bit long though and can be pricey. The salon is also overpriced

The store is getting better from last management but it honestly looks like they raided a nursing home for staff. They have three cashiers that are constantly working, one of them doesn’t know how to use computers and that’s not me being mean she lets everyone know so that we can understand why it’s taking so long. The other blonde one takes 15 plus minutes to check you out just won’t stop talking. And the third one just struggles all the time. I can understand if they’ve been there for a while but when you’re unable to perform simple job functions it’s time to retire.
Their grooming department gets 5 stars from me ever since they got rid of Debbie it’s been completely different the new manager is really putting in the work to change the place, wish they put that effort into the rest of the store.
