“I was told that if I wrote a review, I’d receive a pair of earrings. I was initially happy to do it, but then I overheard what sounded like the owner on the phone rudely asking, “is that woman still standing?” while Ramya responded, “yes, yes, she is buying,” and I felt like I was being watched on camera. That made me uncomfortable, so I declined the earrings and even considered deleting this review.
I also didn’t appreciate the $25 fee just to try on a dress if you don’t end up purchasing it. I had every intention of buying, but that policy almost made me walk away. Since I was only visiting Chicago for a few hours and had already taken an Uber to get there, I ended up making a purchase anyway and paid $430, even though I didn’t really have the time to keep looking around. The fee of 25$ for trying on a dress was anything I have ever heard like .the owner asking rudely on phone .
That said, Ramya herself was very kind and sweet, and I appreciated her attitude. However, because of the overall experience, I don’t think I’ll return or recommend this place to my friends.”

Without making me feel uneducated about diamonds, he confidently and calmly showed me what the necklace would be made of: white gold and the best lab grown diamonds I’ve ever seen… and I have been around the block. Good things take time, the custom tennis necklace he made me was not a 12 hour turnaround… but he made sure I had it for her birthday! He figured out exactly what I would want and he performed!!

“I bought a vintage watch in great condition from this shop. The pricing was extremely fair and competitive. Service was quick and polite.
The watch was in great condition and was kept in good working order with the time and date accurate down to the second, showing it had been maintained well for the time it was in the care of the shop.
We arrived right around closing and were greeted very politely (even though this was our bad) and still were shown the watch plus the sale was made.
I was able to put on the watch and take my time to get a feel of it without being rushed - which again was amazing considering we were late.
It was a pleasure doing business here and I will always keep an eye out for things I might want to buy from here or sell over here given their top notch service.

“They were super patient and went through so many options with me when I brought in my silver citrine and peridot rings. At first I thought I wanted a toi et moi style and the estimate for that setting was about a third or fourth less than another place I took it to. But I ended up just getting them polished and they fixed up the prongs a bit for only $50 for the two!! So shiny and beautiful and wearable now and I love that they made the prongs daintier”

After waiting 3 weeks I was a bit disappointed and sad I couldn’t wear it because I got sized by a women there so that we didn’t get the wrong size , I thought I would have to wait another 3 weeks but UZAIR stepped in was very kind and patient with me, asked what they could do to make it right & got it expedited. I picked it up a few days later, estimated date was the 9th .. “I've been to Piccard several times now. Once, we went to sell some gold coins, another time we went to change watch batteries, then a third time to help my mother pick out new earrings. Piccard has a small selection, but they all appear to be good pieces. These days, I understand why a jeweler wouldn't want to have a lot of stock - robberies or the cost of goods being high, it really doesn't make sense to have much in stock. But, they do have a lot of catalogs you can review, and he will order anything you want. More so, I trust them. When we went to sell our gold coins, they were US Coins, proof. They said he would buy them by weight, but we would probably get more from a coin dealer. They could have just given us the money and marked up the coins, but they didn't. That earned my trust and my business.”
