“I cannot recommend Costello's in Glen Ellyn enough! My stroller completely bent a silver engraved plate that wasn't mine like a taco. I was completely stumped on what to possibly do to fix it and was so nervous to tell the group it belonged to that I had ruined it. I brought it in to Costello and they accepted the challenge. They completely fixed it and now you would never know anything happened to it. Not only did they fix it, but the service and communication was great! “I was told that if I wrote a review, I’d receive a pair of earrings. I was initially happy to do it, but then I overheard what sounded like the owner on the phone rudely asking, “is that woman still standing?” while Ramya responded, “yes, yes, she is buying,” and I felt like I was being watched on camera. That made me uncomfortable, so I declined the earrings and even considered deleting this review.
I also didn’t appreciate the $25 fee just to try on a dress if you don’t end up purchasing it. I had every intention of buying, but that policy almost made me walk away. Since I was only visiting Chicago for a few hours and had already taken an Uber to get there, I ended up making a purchase anyway and paid $430, even though I didn’t really have the time to keep looking around. The fee of 25$ for trying on a dress was anything I have ever heard like .the owner asking rudely on phone .
That said, Ramya herself was very kind and sweet, and I appreciated her attitude. However, because of the overall experience, I don’t think I’ll return or recommend this place to my friends.”

I wanted to gift my girlfriend a diamond tennis chain necklace for Christmas and Nick, the owner, made it personal. Without making me feel uneducated about diamonds, he confidently and calmly showed me what the necklace would be made of: white gold and the best lab grown diamonds I’ve ever seen… and I have been around the block. Good things take time, the custom tennis necklace he made me was not a 12 hour turnaround… but he made sure I had it for her birthday! He figured out exactly what I would want and he performed!!

“I was looking for a specific Cross pendant and called Elk Grove Jewelry & Pawn on a whim. I described what I was looking for and Jade stated that she had what I was looking for and quoted me a price. Upon arrival, Jade showed me the Cross and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I looked at the price tag and the price on the tag was higher than what was quoted. HOWEVER, Jade honored the price which she quoted me over the phone. “I've been to Piccard several times now. Once, we went to sell some gold coins, another time we went to change watch batteries, then a third time to help my mother pick out new earrings. Piccard has a small selection, but they all appear to be good pieces. These days, I understand why a jeweler wouldn't want to have a lot of stock - robberies or the cost of goods being high, it really doesn't make sense to have much in stock. But, they do have a lot of catalogs you can review, and he will order anything you want. More so, I trust them. When we went to sell our gold coins, they were US Coins, proof. They said he would buy them by weight, but we would probably get more from a coin dealer. They could have just given us the money and marked up the coins, but they didn't. That earned my trust and my business.”
