“I've been to Piccard several times now. Once, we went to sell some gold coins, another time we went to change watch batteries, then a third time to help my mother pick out new earrings. Piccard has a small selection, but they all appear to be good pieces. These days, I understand why a jeweler wouldn't want to have a lot of stock - robberies or the cost of goods being high, it really doesn't make sense to have much in stock. But, they do have a lot of catalogs you can review, and he will order anything you want. More so, I trust them. When we went to sell our gold coins, they were US Coins, proof. They said he would buy them by weight, but we would probably get more from a coin dealer. They could have just given us the money and marked up the coins, but they didn't. That earned my trust and my business.”

“Claires has the largest selection of jewelry, most of which is affordable. The ear piercing cost me over $60 each for my daughter and myself. I think that is quite a bit overpriced. Other than that they have a lot of neat trinkets and Claires has been part of my shopping life for well over 30 years, when I used to meet friends at the mall and always made sure to stop there for some new earrings.”
