“By far the best nursery in the area! I get plants quite often throughout the year, especially for fall. I have visited every local nursery in the area and Mini Earth Greenhouses hands down has the best pricing and selection of plants. In late spring, the biggest Lupins I've ever seen and an amazing variety. In summer, stunning perennials that are hard to find elsewhere, like gigantic poofy coneflowers. And fall, the best of all, they have the best variety of mums, asters and pumpkins around. It's easy to shop and explore every area of the nursery and their deals always make it easy to get more than I planned. It is one of the few places I can reliably get native plants that do really well. If there's one thing you come for here, it has to be the pumpkins in fall - I've yet to find somewhere that has the quantity and variety they carry. Their staff are always friendly and helpful as well!”

“I ordered cedar mulch and river rocks and got delivered the next day. Lily from phone customer support was really helpful. I tried to check their office in Volo and Jim explained to me the difference between the mulches and helped me to decide what to get, he's very nice and helpful”
“I was visiting Lurvey's to check if they had any landscaping stone on display so I could see/feel the options. I parked and went inside the office/store. It is not your typical garden center, but it does have some items to purchase onsite. I was warmly welcomed by the woman at the counter, even though it was almost closing time. While they did not have a display indoors, I was given directions to where I could drive my car to see the options where all the supply is kept. This lovely lady went as far as to provide me with Ziploc bags to take samples of any of the ones I wanted. I was able to get a few samples and be on my way before it closed. I was super-impressed with the options and more so the customer service I received. Thanks!”

Huge selection of plants and fair price for the quality as well. All the plants I've bought from here have thrived with no issues! “Great home depot. Love the smell of it when I first walk in the store. Last year got me and my mom a above ground planter the we put hurbs in (plant didn't survive though because we lwk suck at gardening noy the point anyway) it was great for that. We also redid some of my backyard near my back door and replaced some of it with Vargo rocks with there lawn cloth at the bottom and hydrangea plants that are thriving. All of this we got from this home depot and they for shure live up to there slogan...this home depot let's the doers get more done. The staff there is also really nice in storeand in the gardening section...one time I needed to find chain oil and i couldn't find it until one pf the many helpful
people there helped me find it. Over all 11/10”

“Tom at the Lake Zurich Rental center really helped me out. I was planning on renting a sewer rodding machine because my shower was backing up. After listening to my issue tom suggested the issue was in my septic field. Turns out I took the cover off and the tank was totally full. Tom chose to help me solve my problem over the phone instead of just trying to rent me a piece of equipment. I will think of this rental department whenever I need another tool to rent. “VS menards well stocked but what sets it apart is it's employees are every where and most knowledgeable. Most are from a trade which is invaluable! Plus being a vet i don't have to jump through hoops mailing in receipt or as they count on it forgetting to get 10% off. Do not like current return policy. Even if they stock item you can't even get a store credit if over i guess 30/35$. Unless you have the credit card or receipt. If I kept every receipt I'd need a accountant!”

“there was a lot of new items and I really like the plant section as I am I have a gardener however, I did notice that there wasn't a lot of selection when it came to stones and towels that I could use in my garden and this was kind of disappointing, especially due to the high rates of drought that are known to be occurring in our area sometimes during the summer but nonetheless, I was very happy with the plant selection and the selection of sand available in this establishment store”
