“I recently received the most exquisite flower delivery from Victor Hlavacek, Winnetka. Every detail was done to perfection. The flowers were gorgeous, the arrangement was beautiful from every angle and the vase was lovely. Even the packaging, including the colorful tissue paper was carefully done to not only look pretty, but to ensure the arrangement arrived in excellent condition. Today marks day six and we are still enjoying them!”

“I went to Yanni to design my October 2025 wedding. I was assigned Eric as my designer and I couldn't have been happier! He understood what I was looking for - something elegant and chic, with color, and timeless. To say Eric (and Keith) knocked it out of the park is an understatement. I never felt pressured to make decisions that would push our budget to an area where I was uncomfortable. Instead, they knew exactly where to put the money to have the most impact. To say my wedding was perfect falls short of what it actually was. There was not a detail that went unnoticed. Mind you - they had limited time to set up and magically it was perfect in just a few hours.
We are still receiving compliments from guests on the decor - most stating that it's the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. I couldn't agree more. Eric took the vision in my mind and made it into reality.”
“Esther Flowers of Northbrook provided flowers for our wedding and it could not have been a better experience! Kathy was so sweet, accessible, and realistic throughout the planning process. She assembled the wedding party bouquets, boutonnieres, and a few large arrangements for the ceremony and reception -- and all were absolutely beautiful.
For table arrangements, I had just wanted bud vases and so to save some cash Kathy ordered the flowers but I assembled the vases myself with family the day before. The flowers were very fresh and held up overnight with no issues. She was able to get exactly what I wanted, and with her knowledge and design eye, even ordered another type of flower that wasn't on my list that ended up being one of my favorites in the arrangements. Highly, highly recommend this lovely local business for all floral needs!”

“In a word, “wow”! I ordered (i.e., asked nicely for) 25 roses for my anniversary, and Hlavacek of Glenview did not disappoint. They were super helpful and respectfully listened to my novice request for “two-toned” roses. (I’m not an an expert.) Based on prior experience, I knew they would be outstanding, but my wife said, hands down, these are the most beautiful flowers she has ever received. They really are amazing. “I had such a wonderful experience at this nursery. The plants were beautiful and very reasonably priced, from the smallest starters to large, mature plants. There was an amazing plants of jades it honestly felt like jade paradise.
What really made this place special was Pat.
Pat is incredibly kind, patient, and generous with his knowledge. He took the time to teach me, shared tips on pruning and propagation, and gave me so much confidence in my planting skills. You can tell he truly cares about his plants and treats the space like his own garden, letting everything grow strong and healthy.
He even shared some cuttings with me and talked about experimenting with propagation. I’m very grateful for meeting him and his greenhouse harden and will absolutely be visiting again just for him.
Highly recommend this place if you love plants.”

“I had a last-minute need for flowers to be sent, and Edwards was able to fill my order with just 24 hours' notice. The online ordering was easy, and I ordered the Designer's Choice, which essentially allows them to create a gift with the available flowers on hand. This can be a gamble, but I also wanted to be realistic since I was asking for help in a very short time frame.
The arrangement arrived as hoped, and I think it is beautiful! There is an obvious designer's good eye in the finished product, and I was pleased with my purchase.
The other part of this order I appreciated was the communication. I ordered easily online, got an acknowledgement for the order, and then also a notice (can't remember if it was email or text) letting me know when the delivery was made. I was very pleased with this service and will remember Edwards for my future floral needs.”

The florist replaced the arrangement the next day with a more fulsome pair of orchids so I am modifying my review.”

“Eileen and the team at Lake Forest Flowers are a dream to work with and we cannot recommend them enough. Our wedding was so beautiful and perfect thanks to LFF! We rented candelabras for our tables which were decorated beautifully with greenery, the venue looked so romantic with all the candles, and of course my bouquet and the boutonnières and all other flowers were stunning. Eileen absolutely nailed it with the color scheme and even found a way to incorporate some hair pins into the bouquet for a pop of sparkle. They set everything up and took everything down which was a huge help. It was so nice to not have to worry about that and have it done for us. “This florist is the best out there. They not only did an outstanding job with my Mother’s flowers but they put in so much effort delivering them as the GPS always screws up her house. It took them a half hour to find the house but they took the time they needed to get the job done. I am so impressed with them and I highly, highly recommend them. They are one of the few non corporate flower shops left that take their time with their arrangements, do not cheap out with their flowers, and are worth every penny you spend. They are so reasonable for the effort and beauty they give and you will NOT regret ordering from them. Thank you, Liz Lee’s flowers!!”
“I stopped by Konradt’s right as they opened, as they were the first florist open in Lake Forest. The gentleman told me he would need 30 mins to get an arrangement together for me. I came back 30 mins later, flowers were ready, and the arrangement was spectacular.

“We had placed an order to be sent to a friend, who is now in hospice care. We chose an arrangement that we thought would bring him a joyful distraction from what he is going through. Unfortunately the arrangement that was sent, was not what we expected, since we were going by a photo on the website. We contacted, via E-mail, Emotional Bonding, and they responded in a very timely manner to our concerns. We explained what it was about the arrangement that we were not happy with. When they received the photo of the arrangement that had been sent, they understood what we were not happy with. The situation was quickly taken care of. All this was done in a very respectful manner. We appreciated being listened to and understood. We definitely recommend Emotional Bounding!?”
