“This would easily have been a five if not for the damaged property, lack of response and the delivery driver. My move was from Midwest to the East coast. My experience with the team in Chicago was excellent. I was going into storage initially. I was told it would go into crates, I was told I could use my own blankets. No crates and my blankets disappeared in the process. The driver on the delivery end was very aggressive and was only concerned about how the outcome looked for him and not whether I was a satisfied customer. Moved items into the house to discover many items damaged. The major item was a stand up desk that I will have to replace at my cost.
Have reached out several times to the team in Chicago with no response. In the end it was disappointing.
I revised this to a 5 star, as it was my experience with the team in Chicago and that same team resolved all issues to my great satisfaction. I do believe I can recommend this team as they are very customer focused.”
“Stored my stuff for a year and this is one of the cleanest storage facilities I’ve ever been to. It was always very well kept. The moving process in and out was easy. I didn’t like that I had to buy a Cylinder lock when I already had a disc lock from previous storages, but that’s okay, it still worked out. Grateful for storage manager Sandra’s great customer service.”

They were responsive to all of our questions, were on time for the pack and move and got his items delivered timely with no damage whatsoever. DD took the time to help me find a unit that was convenient and easy to access. She didn’t just point me in the right direction she personally walked me back to the unit, showed me exactly where everything was, including where the carts are kept, and made sure I was comfortable with the layout.
What really stood out was her personality. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant to work with. She turned what could have been a boring errand into a great customer service experience. Public Storage is lucky to have someone like DD on their team. “I’ve been using public storage for a while now Rhonda is phenomenal. She’s always outside cleaning making sure everything is just perfect. The facility is very clean and she’s very professional with her customers. I’ve been renting there for two years and never had a problem. I do recommend renting here you will encounter the best Customer service while dealing with Rhonda. “The lady in the office is super nice and friendly. The storage facility itself has a very weird smell. I found a dead mouse in my unit. There are many units there that are used to store food products, not sure if that causes the rodents….”

Even when I may have extended my welcome past the posted hours, they were understanding of my situation, and treated me with respect.
