“I initially got a storage unit when it was “Life Storage”. Since then, they got bought out and switched to the new ownership as “Extra Space”, and I will say the negative star is for the corporate greed that keeps inflating my rent astronomically like clockwork. The other 4 stars are for the wonderful staff I’ve dealt with there like Jimece. She’s a fabulous person and fantastic manager of the facility, despite the corporate greed BS.”

I called because I needed to downsize from a 10x10 storage unit to something smaller, and Liz immediately jumped in to help. She took the time to understand what I was storing, explained my options, and recommended the perfect unit for my needs without trying to upsell me.

“I had an excellent experience with Public Storage at 17W170 Roosevelt Rd in Oakbrook Terrace. I stored my car there for about 14 months, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well everything turned out.
From day one, the facility felt secure, clean, and well-managed. Access was always smooth, and I had peace of mind knowing my vehicle was in a safe environment. After more than a year in storage, I was very happy to find my car in great condition with absolutely no damage or issues.
It’s clear that this location takes pride in maintaining high standards, and it really shows. I would definitely recommend this Public Storage facility to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to store their vehicle long-term.”

“I just had, to write this review I came into rent a, storage unit miss Geri made every thing simple and easy I got a great deal on the unit the outside was very clean and well taken care of and most important it is very close to my house and the customer service was top notch thank you for helping me find the right size unit !!!!!”
“Overall, we were satisfied with Allied. They did break a paper shredder. I'm not sure why it wasn't packed in a box like almost everything else was. On delivery, the crew accidentally took my two wheel dolly. They used it to return the furniture wraps to the truck, and didn't bring it back. Other than those two things, we were happy.”

Ms. Angie is absolutely AMAZING!!! I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. Every single time I’ve spoken with her, she has been so kind, patient, pleasant, and genuinely helpful. She never has an attitude and always makes you feel comfortable asking questions.
As a young & independent adult. keeping up with expenses can be difficult, and I was honestly struggling with being able to afford my storage unit. Ms. Angie took the time to explain my options, give me helpful information, and guide me on things I could do to help save my unit. She didn’t have to go above and beyond the way she did, but she truly cared and treated me with so much kindness and understanding.
Customer service like hers is so rare these days. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she helps, and that makes such a HUGE difference. Ms. Angie is truly a blessing and an amazing person to have representing this location. She deserves all the recognition!
