“Skip is the most honest mechanic in the area. He has taken care of my vehicles and small engines past 6 years. Never a problem and upfront on cost and options on parts. He just did a bunch of work on our car and has our second car in for work now. Great mechanic and will work with everyone’s budget on parts. Skip is a mechanic that if something comes up while working on car broken screws bolts on motor or car he will fix verses other mechanics don’t.”
“I know this is going to sound crazy, but it was a miracle that I happened to drive by at the most needed time!I had an appointment in Naperville that I had to reschedule from last Wednesday, because I forgot I had to go in person. I knew my front tires were low on air and I planned on the way back home I was going to fill them once I got to the next gas station since I needed gas as well. I was letting Google Maps direct me since I live at least 1 and a half hours away, there was at least 2 notifications for Google for a faster route and I accepted the tips. Then the next thing I know my car notifies me that my back passenger tire was getting low. I was praying for a gas station then I started watching my car sensor show that the air was going out fast in the back tire. In a second of time, I saw your sign and immediately knew I needed to stop there! Thankfully and I'm grateful that I did! The employees working were kind, polite, and able to get my back tire patched up and filled all my tires up right away for me, so I could get home safely. The mechanic that worked on my vehicle; I really appreciate you making the time, even making me aware of a another current, but mild issue with my vehicle, and assured me that it was safe enough for me to get home. “Dave is a man of great character. My family and I have been going to him for years. Dave has always been honest and kind and never tries to up sell you anything unless he feels it is necessary for the continued safe operation of your vehicle. When I was away at college studying mechanical engineering and something went wrong with my truck and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it Dave was just a phone call away and more than willing to give me some tips and pointers to help me get the job done……..not to many mechanics would take the time out of there day to give some young kid some pointers knowing they probably weren’t going to see a penny for that advice. Dave is everything you look for in a mechanic, fairly priced, honest, kind, straight forward (he doesn’t do any work on your vehicle until he gives you a quote for what needs to be done and you ok it). Dave is a highly skilled mechanic as well, he doesn’t just rely on a scan tool. Dave can hear a problem or feel a problem and 9 times out of 10 he will know exactly what it is. That type of skill is not something that can be learned in a textbook. That type of skill is developed from years of experience. Dave has done everything from AC to wheel bearings for me and all of his repairs are still holding up years later.”

“I have used Prestige Auto Repair for three years and because I own a high mileage 15 year old vehicle I have had many different types of repairs done. During this time I have had nothing but great service at affordable prices. Last week (Feb 2016) I was visiting a friend in Sandwich and I had a brake lock up. I managed to limp into Prestige Auto Repair at 4:50 on a Friday night. (Ten minutes from closing) Jim jumped on my repair, ordered the parts minutes before the delivery service closed. He had me back on the road in a little over an hour and a half at the same affordable prices I have experienced before. Because I now live 100 miles away from Prestige Auto Repair in Somonauk and my vehicle was not driveable, Jim really saved the day. I highly recommend Prestige Auto Repair.”

“I've been taking my car here for a year to get the oil changed for my car. I have not had an issue at all. I go in the morning and drop off my car while I shop. I've never had to wait very long to get it back. They text me when it's done. I think going first thing is the best to avoid a long wait. The ladies that have helped me at the desk are always nice and polite. For a basic oil change this place works. Don't expect to walk in at noon and have your car ready for by 1 pm. That doesn't even happen at the places that take appointments.”

Sometimes these appointments can be intimidating for a young woman, and I felt very understood there. Zach, the technician, even offered to let me drive with him in my vehicle to help further understand the issue I was dealing with. I chose on my own to wait for the service to be completed, which was around the 2.5-3 hour mark, so it would have been nice if the waiting lobby had coffee or snacks for waiting customers.”
“From the 1st phone call I could already see why Dempsey is a household name here in my brother's town and just about every other house on every block owns a Jeep! The guys here are GREAT! They are EXPERTS at recommending the best options and explaining how each model compares. You can tell they have been doing this a lonnng time and it's easy to see why Dempsey has been the #1 Jeep dealership for decades---these guys have the whole car buying experience down to a science!! Everyone I spoke with was super happy to help, friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what questions to ask to get an understanding of what MY best options are and why....I love how when I first called they asked when I'd be in so they could schedule it and make sure someone was available to help as soon as I got there. I didn't realize what a HUGE benefit this is, especially at a dealership as busy as Dempsey! Had I just strolled in without that appointment I would've been sitting around for a LONG time waiting to even ask a question, so THANK YOU Dempsey for implementing the appointment system, I felt like a V.I.P.!! (and double THANKS!! for the good coffee!)Bottom line, from the initial call to setting the initial appointment to the test drives, to the financing, the purchase, and even the future maintenance plan, I felt like I had a whole team of experts guiding me thru each step!! “I've been bringing my vehicles here for years. The only issue I have is every time they try to sell you something additional (ie: filters) I get they need to make money but I'm not paying $80 for a $20 part that I can have my husband install. LolI also wish there were appointment times you could sign up for. I'm a mom of 2 and waiting can be a hassle sometimes with a newborn and 2 year old.Other than that, no issues. Super nice staff. They are quick once they get your vehicle in. Definitely will be back in the future. ?”

Took my truck there to get frame repaired with some welding and brought new bed to get painted. They did some top notch work on all of my welding repairs and the fit and finish was Incredible on my bed. I was so greatful for the results and all the time and effort put in to it. I've been grinning from ear to ear for Days now. And Ray is one of the coolest dudes you can meet!
