“This is one of the best bookstores I've ever been to, and I'm a native Angeleno who has also lived in the Bay Area. If for some reason, they don't carry what you're looking for, they will always order it for you. As a poet, it' really refreshing to see that they have an extensive poetry section that carries lots of smaller and indie presses in addition to the big publishing houses. A great kids section, a fabulous selection of art books and calendars, and a great place to get Moleskine notebooks and other journals. They also have a wonderful selection of magazines.”

Great prices and super nice stats ready to help when needed! I have 4 grandkids (ages range from 4 to 10) and as long they are kids I will never shop for toys anywhere else! A jewel of a find in Oak Park, Illinois!”
“I forgot about this little hidden gem in four corners. It's been some time since I've been here but it's exactly how I remembered it. They have a large selection of children's books and fiction. They're organized by author and they have some new books in their selection. You also have the option to order a newer book at a discount (if I remember correctly). They will also accept book donations so don't let those books go to waste! If you've never been, definitely try and check this out. I stocked up on my most recent visit with some good stuff!”

“I live near this area and had no idea this store was here, let alone one still open. This place is great! This store has everything. Books, Cds, Vinyl records, games, toys. The staff is friendly, the store is organized. Alsi has a coffee shop inside. Definitely worth going to”

“When my son Joshua was receiving his first Holy Communion I needed to get a very special rosary beads for him and a prayer book . I ordered eveything over the phone with Sue and she was absolutely amazing and helped me pick the perfect items. In addition she also included in my order, completely free of charge, the most beautiful little wooden box/chest medal and rosary holder with a bible inscription from the book of Joshua. Everything arrived safely and was packaged beautifully. Sue will go above and beyond the call of duty to get the exact item one describes and if she does not have it in stock she will order it for you immediately. This is definitely the place to visit when you need that most unusual item. Quite frankly if I could give a 6 Star review I would do so with pleasure!!!”
“MVCC Bookstore has great deals on school book rentals, and other student school supplies. They also have nice variety of clothing options for students and staff. Service is great the workers at MVCC Bookstore are wonderful. They also have sidewalk sales and often have very unique and original gifts for yourself or others.”
“4 stat because they aren't actually a part of the school. You have to show them your schedule in order to return rented books. Better to rent than buy though, so 4 stars. I also miss the corner bookstore that used to be on 5th before you turn into the school, but it is no longer there. Rent your books here though, or buy used. $$$. Better off getting your books though Amazon earlier if you can. Staff is still very helpful in getting your materials.”

Opening the door to this place is akin to pressing pause on the hustle and bustle of life, and ascending into another dimension for an avid suspense reader. The smell of books, the beautiful polished book cases, and the ambience are all worth a visit, if not several visits. The service and hospitality are unsurpassable - the couple running the place are the sweetest and most wonderful people, ever. And there is SO much knowledge of suspense novels coming from these two that it blows your mind. The books are priced reasonably and buying here is a lot of bang for your buck. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fort all book lovers, but especially SUSPENSE and MYSTERY readers!”
