“Great service and selection of many landscaping products and supplies. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist with accurate supply needs and realistic prices for the outdoor space. Since purchasing a pickup truck I will never shop elsewhere and deal with "bagged" mulch, dirt or rocks. I can only imagine how much more it would have cost me for the equivalent of 3 yards of mulch. Thanks for another great experience helping me finish the spring to-do list. Next...colored stone for the deck walkout.”
“Aside from the fact that they have pretty much everything you need if you're making a small run to the hardware store and they've got some really premium lumber, but beside that they have one of the best cashiers I have ever encountered. He has joke after joke and is always smiles. He will literally brighten your day. He is one of the biggest reasons why I choose to come in to this ace versus going to any other hardware store. He really deserves a raise or some type of promotion or bonus.”

I called their shop this morning and explained that I was looking to send a fresh flower arrangement today, one that was big, bright, beautiful and had a "put a smile on their face" appeal for a good friend of mine who needed some cheering-up. After sharing the details, a short time later I received a confirming e-mail with the order, how the card would read, etc., (very professional). They got the order out today. This evening I got a text from my friend on how beautiful and uplifting the arrangement was (I even got a photo with the text - showing the wonderful arrangement on their dining room table, it was AWESOME ! ). “Purchase two phalaenopsis online, listed as ‘in bud/stalk’. Came in safely, with gorgeous foliage. One had a prominent flower stalk with a second forming, and the other had two stalks. Shortly after, it formed a THIRD stalk!Seriously impressive plants, for a great price! I wish Hausermann stocked every variety of orchid I hope to own, I would never use another nursery.”

“Large nursery. I visited early in the season. They had a very good variety. They seemed to be a little expensive. There may be good cause for the price due to such things as the uniqueness of the plants and possibly high quality. I purchased a few small plants and items.”
“Amazing nursery and plant shop! Extremely knowledgable staff will help you find the right plant for you. Once, their credit card machine was down and we promised to pay the next day, and they gave us a discount on future plants! They also have a little cafe that makes great coffee and smoothies.”

“Dwayne and team do an absolutely amazing job. From picking out the perfect plants, to guiding us through the garden and giving us sketches of what our yard could look like, they do it all. We had absolutely no landscaping, a blank slate with no ideas and Dwayne brought our yard to life. Even coming back to check on everything multiple times after the project was complete. We couldn't have found a better guy or company. Our yard is amazing!”

“Best place in DG for flowers and sod. A bit of a higher price point but much higher quality and selection than Home Depot. As far as the outdoor furnishings, gifts, and other merchandise it's a bit out of my budget but nonetheless a cute selection. Service is great, Kate at the register deserves a special shout-out.”

Reasonable prices.A year since I wrote this review, give or take, and I generally no longer go to Home Depot and Countryside Illinois because it appears multiple staff changes have caused the service in a variety of departments to diminish. They seem to be much more helpful at the local Menards. as long as I go to Home Depot in Countryside Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM I could expect reasonable help with better than average expertise. If I go at other times when I try not to if I go at all the staff working there to be poorly trained, particularly in lumber, plumbing, electricity, gardening, but the checkout is generally quick and easy.”
“We had them come out and replace some mulch with rock and lay down some sod. The prices were comparable to others. They got the job done and most importantly they showed up and answered calls. A lot of landscapers are too busy this was the 8th place we contacted.”

“Every experience I've had at this Home Depot location has been wonderful. I usually always need help when I come here and the employees always go above and beyond to ask if I need help before I can get to them first. They are very knowledgeable and assist me with whatever I need. We rented a Penske truck today and we were extremely happy with our experience. I will definitely be renting from Home Depot moving forward. We were very pleased with the customer service and walk through they did before releasing the truck. It was much better than competitor brands that we have used in the past.”
“In the Home Depot of Shorewood at the Pro Desk works a lady by the name of Geina. Geina amplifies the word employee. She goes out of her way to help HD contractors and guests. Geina is caring, kind and extremely organized. She is always pleasant. Never makes you feel like you are ever bothering her even though she may have 2 phones hanging for her head and a text message on her cell phone from a contractor. If you ever get an opportunity to go to the Shorewood HD, go meet Geina, as she will treat you like family. Thank you for such great service, hospitality and kindness. You are the best!”
