Highland Woods Golf Course is a beautiful, hilly 18-hole championship-length course set among peaceful forest preserves. It is a well-maintained public course at a very reasonable rate, considered a well-kept secret. The course layout is great, featuring generous and wide open fairways, thoughtfully placed bunkers, challenging water hazards, and a lot of dog legs. It offers a fun and enjoyable golf experience for all skill levels, challenging but not overly difficult. The greens are on the faster side and not very forgiving. Facilities include a wide open driving range. Pace of play can sometimes be slow.

Not bad for a public course. Saw some deer and turkey on the fairways. I really like the driving range.

We have the best time at Highland Woods Golf Course! The greens are good but really appreciate Meghan , who checks us in and out and is just the best person to start off your round of golf! I cannot wait to go back and see her soon!
