“It is so nice to have a local credit union to work with in person. We have done banking, mortgages, children and teen accounts here. They offer many useful in-person services for members that have been almost impossible to find anymore as big online banks become more competitive, such as no-fee VISA gift cards, no fee coin machine, international money exchange, safe deposit box rental (as close to Gringotts as you're going to get!). AAEC also awards many programs, grants and scholarships back to the local community!”
“This advia branch is impeccable! I was so thrilled that I found a branch closer to where I live. I used to have to make a long drive to use their services. They are all so friendly and hospitable at this branch. I have had many questions about my financial situation and the many sleepless nights that I have had worrying, and the folks at this branch came to the rescue! All the tellers are so friendly and knowledgeable about how to help you with your needs. I was in a pickle about a week ago with needing a loan fast for some debt that I owed and they came up with a solution for me that helped me pay back the money that i owed to a collections agency. I am grateful to say that I am on my way to being out of debt and I have advia riverwoods to thank. Mike the branch manager is a great guy and he is very accommodating for any financial situation. He will work with you to find the solution that is right for you and your family. The rest of the staff are all wonderful and very friendly as well. They all deserve a raise and some praise! please forgive me for not remembering names, but they are all assets to the advia family, no pun intended! Keep up the great work advia riverwoods! “I am so glad we have BCU. I have 3 car loans and 1 personal loan. All I can say is the transactions went smooth for my purchases and refinance. Jonathan went above and beyond to close my deals in 48 hrs or less. Fast pre approvals fast response. He was always polite and efficient. I just wish they had more branches”
“I've been a member of BCU since 1984. We've enjoyed checking and savings services as well as credit cards. We had our home mortgage with them until we paid it off (yea!) and have had 2-3 home equity loans. My reason for writing this review today is to rejoice that once again BCU has made our lives very easy. Our HELOC was expiring 3/31/2024 and I was dreading having to refinance it and pay points, and/or shop around for another. On 1/9, I received an email with DocuSign links stating that we'd been approved for a 5 year extension on our HELOC and all we needed to do was sign the form. What??? We signed and sent it back. I called BCU this morning 1/12 to inquire of the status, and was told that the loan has been extended until 3/31/2029 and it's all done. Incredible! WE LOVE BCU!!”
