“Very orderly and organized. There were no service members on site, but that was fine because I didn’t need any assistance with my purchase. There are plenty of kiosks to check out.”

“Mike was so welcoming. As first timers, my boyfriend and I were a little apprehensive on how to begin our journey in Warhammer. Mike explained paint types and techniques to get us through our paint & take session. Great store!”

“This place has just about everything to cover any art project or passion you may have. My wife was there to look at clay and glazes for her pottery hobby. The staff was knowledgeable and what they didn't know for sure, they helped us look it up. We will be back!!”

“Sold some coins. Very normal and quick process , minimum paperwork, in and out in 5 American minutes; and prices they gave are quite normal as well. I have been into metals long before most of you who are buying gold bars in Costco these days. I bought and sold, from and to brick and mortar stores. Costa's is fine, perfectly fine. Hopefully will do more business in the future. And if you think dealing with online folks like Apmex or JM or Provident better in terms of prices, good luck. Buying won't be cheaper unless you buy large quantities. Then trying to sell to them, whole different matter and pain in terms of logistics and prices too. Price per ounce, sure ?. Any dealer has to have a larger spread then simple bid and ask for spot price.”

“I am so glad I finally found this place! It is getting harder to find a shop that will actually refill a 5lb CO2 tank on-site rather than just forcing a swap, so this was a huge win. The gentleman who helped me was great, and I was honestly impressed by the variety and quality of inventory they have in stock. It’s clear why they’ve been a staple in the area for over a decade. Highly recommend stopping in if you want to support a great local business with solid expertise. I’ll definitely be back!”

“The owner Charlie has an in depth knowledge of the comic book industry. Truly only a few of many authentic comic book stores out there and Dreamland delivers. Came in to trade some old comics and came out with a vintage Pokemon card. Great environment. Thank you”

“The store is not close to me, but it has always been worth the extra time to make it out here. Chris, the manager, is mentioned in several of these reviews, and for good reason. He makes the atmosphere comforting that anyone, new or old, feels appreciated when they walk through the door.”

“Frank is extremely knowledgeable and offers great prices on your scrap gold/silver and silver coins. Even though I move further west, I still make the trip out to the shop. One of the best in the Chicagoland area.”

“Please, for the love of God, place your orders at this store. Drive the extra miles to avoid the Kildeer store. Nothing has ever been more worth it.

The Kildeer store is where joy, hope, and any semblance of an even semi-well run business go to die. I regret it more than marrying my ex-husband.

Inventory online is so wildly off-base it feels like an attempt to rage-bait customers. The employees are furious you've dared to enter the store and ask benign questions, like whether they can honor an online price (the managers of many stores will, recognizing putting in a pickup order and making them put it together takes more employee effort and is less economically efficient).

If I'm a bad person in this life, when I die, I will go to the Kildeer Michael's. It is eternal damnation.

The Schaumburg Michael's on Golf Road is INCREDIBLE. The employees are happy to help and will even make suggestions for additional items, which always end up making my projects better and making the store more money. When I place orders for pickup- miracle of miracles!- the order is actually available and hassle-free.

If I'm a good person, and don't take out my rage by complaining endlessly about how the Kildeer shop is the 7th circle of Dante's hell, I will go to the Schaumburg Michael's location when I die.”

“This store is overly crowded with stuff. There isn't room to pass another person in the isles let alone 2 carts. The shelves are disorganized. Probably because there is so much stuff. Almost seems like a horder store.”

“Cool little spot. Took my 6 year old boy for 30 minutes and he loved it. They charge $5/15 minutes of racing and have better deals if you own your own car. Staff was friendly, helpful, and didn’t mind answering all my weird questions on the hobby.”

“The birthday party here was really fun. We had a group of 7/8 year olds and they all had a blast with the tie-dye and making the bracelets. The only suggestion I would make is maybe for the Michael’s party lead to demonstrate how to wrap the shirts first, and maybe a quick demonstration for exactly how much to the soak the shirts with the dye. Thankfully I have done tie dye before and knew to spiral the shirts for that pattern. We would do a party here again and recommend for a fun time and easy clean up!”

“I decided to get a new rc car and could easily order online but I don't like waiting so I drove 30 minutes just to see what this store have, the car that I wanted was in stock different color I asked if I could open the box to see it but since is factory sealed he say no, so I look at pictures on line and I ended getting it, he hook me up with battery and charger, over all it was a pleasant experience looking forward to come back soon.”

“My family and I went to buy some loose Pokemon cards that my sons were interested in. The cards that they wanted were very random and consisted of Pokemon using all different energies as well as Trainers. The owner Jester was there and he was extremely helpful, helping us find over 30 of the cards that they were looking through by going through binders and loose cards in a box, which was extremely tedious. We've been to many Gamers Worlds where the employees running the store seem like they couldn't care less about their customers. We were fortunate to have the exact opposite experience here and want to thank Jester so much for his kindness and patience!”
