“I wanted a very specific box of screws they didn't have, but only because I'm very stubborn. They had lots of similar screws. Very handy location to serve Barrington and a huge variety of products. Plenty of parking easy in and out.”

“First time trying out their dog wash today.I'm very Happy I did! it's very clean, the staff was super nice and accommodating. I like that they have raised wash areas and grooming areas to dry the dogs, good water pressure, hoses that you can change the stream and decent dryers. They supply some of the different shampoos that they carry I did try their sensitive one and so far it seems to have caused no irritation for a very sensitive skin dog. I like that they supply more than one towel like some other places do. Tractor supply company is a little gym in Carpentersville that I often forget about and every time I go I really like it. They hire friendly staff and it's always clean and they have a lot of variety.”
1742 N Richmond Rd, McHenry IL 60051
“Well stocked, although it would have been a perfect trip if they had had (1) the easy-to-use gasoline can dispensers sold separately from the cans, and (2) an extension cord with a flat to the wall, rather than perpendicular to the wall, male plug end. Everything else I needed was there and reasonably priced.”

“Scott is an incredible guy. I came in with a cabinet drawer handle that was driving me up a wall. Scott took it to the service center and tapped it for me. He was professional and easy to work with, and people like Scott truly are keeping brick and mortar stores alive in today's world. Give that man a raise - it's harder than it has ever been to find good people and having an employee like Scott at your store is a blessing. So whatever manager or community engagement rep reads this - for real, give him a raise. Only a matter of time until somebody walks in and offers him more than he's getting paid now. Thanks Scott!”

“Great home depot. Love the smell of it when I first walk in the store. Last year got me and my mom a above ground planter the we put hurbs in (plant didn't survive though because we lwk suck at gardening noy the point anyway) it was great for that. We also redid some of my backyard near my back door and replaced some of it with Vargo rocks with there lawn cloth at the bottom and hydrangea plants that are thriving. All of this we got from this home depot and they for shure live up to there slogan...this home depot let's the doers get more done. The staff there is also really nice in storeand in the gardening section...one time I needed to find chain oil and i couldn't find it until one pf the many helpful people there helped me find it. Over all 11/10”

“How do I give this place 6 stars? Very attentive, kind and knowledgeable staff. There has yet to be a single time that I walk into this store and some doesn’t stop me, ask if I need help and point me to exactly what I was looking for. This is what a hardware store shopping experience should be like. Thank you to the amazing staff at Ace. Next time I have to remember to get staff names to add kudos directly to the review.”
239 E Northwest Hwy, Palatine IL 60067
“Will is an example of a fabulous employee. Personable, helpful, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely caring and great representative of Mutual Ace Hdwre. Corp. I was searching for a Twp 1500 Series, Cedar Tone product. I live in Schaumburg and the Palatine location was the only store that had any in stock. I spoke to Will on the phone and he was wonderful. I drove almost 20 miles and Will was so informative, he had set 5 gallons aside and helped load it in my car. Great employee and I’d drive that distance to the store anytime. Thanks Will. Ace has a real asset with an employee like you.”

“Paul in online sales went above and beyond to expedite my order. While I certainly appreciate the convenience of online sales, it is extremely satisfying to talk to a real compassionate human being like Paul. I received my part in less than 24 hours thanks to his special attention! Thank you Paul & Arlington Power Equipment!”

“Called Ferguson looking for a part for a soap dispenser I purchased (unfortunately not from them) Jessica was so helpful she connected me with the Moen representative and I was able to get the part fee under warranty. Next time I have plumbing needs I will be sure to use Ferguson. Thank you so much Jessica.”

“I rate this home depot 5 stars but I must admit I was only in the Garden Center portion. Everyone was very friendly and helpful AND this is the ONLY place I have been able to find a variety of colors of Coral Bells (huecheras). 4 stars instead of 5 because they should mark the items that are burnt, dying and/or in bad shape instewad of displaying them at full price.”
2700 Lake Cook Rd, Long Grove IL 60047
“I don’t usually write online reviews for quick retail runs, but the incredible service I received at the Long Grove Menards deserves to be called out. In a world where big-box stores often ignore you unless you're dropping thousands of dollars, this team proved that every single customer matters. I bought a couple small items being electrical outlets and hardware to finish a small project and the staff here was incredibly helpful (Robert and Sean). Store was also very clean and insanely organized. Bye bye Home Depot!!! Menards just earned another repeat customer”

“I know they're probably not too happy to be helping with beverage regulators, but they did it! Walked in with a tank that I thought wasn't dispensing CO2, walked out with the same tank and a new regulator. Not bad for a place that probably doesn't normally deal with know-nothing customers like me often.”
251 Springhill Rd, Carpentersville IL 60110
“Oscar in the tools, rental department at this Carpentersville store is super helpful.
