“Honestly, I buy nothing else anymore. I have the bar soaps which have a super creamy lather, the scrubs which are soothing and do not leave a greasy feel on my shower floor, the body creams which are rich and indulgent, and finally the perfume oils which have more staying power than many of my extravagant perfumes. “There is a fine selection of excellent stores: REI, Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom Rack, HomeGoods, West Elm, J.Crew Factory, Athleta, and Whole Foods. I give the shopping experience high marks.
However, Mellody Farm built too many restaurants and eateries, making parking inconvenient—even dangerous—for pedestrians and vehicles. The complex's tall grasses are planted seemingly to reduce visibility and don't change seasonally. The grasses wilt when the weather gets cold, and are equally poor for seeing traffic and pedestrians in the lot, even during winter. The parking lot on its own deserves a low score.”

“Village Square of Northbrook is a gigantic shopping plaza. Most of the name brand chains are there, offering merchandise at reduced prices.Huge parking lot with handicap spaces. The village square is several blocks along, so put on your hiking boots.”
“My guy and I visited the Dairy Queen during a ride through the area. It's hidden, but it's worth finding! We sat outside and ate our ice cream and enjoyed the area.”
“I went to Michael's and was able to easily find a parking spot close to the store. There I was assisted by the cashier in using the new self checkout computers and made use of my 20% off coupon.”

“This strip mall is okay. Best place in it is Max and Benny's Restaurant. The only down side to this strip mall is the road exit. Many people think that the oncoming lane to enter the mall is a double left turn lane to exit the place. This makes it very dangerous. The mall could use a better enterance/exit design to make it safer for motorists.”
“The grocery here is wonderful. Lots of fancy party foods as eell as staples. Parking is abundant. Wide variety of restaurants to choose from - something for every palate. Careful this place is slightly hidden behind rows of trees - Don't miss it!”

“Depending on the day it's how it's going to be, Wednesdays are hard to find something good and everything is a mess, but on Fridays everything is new but it's more expensive. I recommend being there earlier.”
“They have replaced Sports Authority, in my mind. They have a large variety of different of items for different sports including clothing. Their prices are very competitive. They don't have the greatest of customer service, but they make up for that in price.”

“They are really trying to freshen this strip mall up, new pavement and exterior recently updated. Binnys is a staple here and a must visit for anyone looking for a hard to find adult beverage (not to drink there, but to take). Guitar Center is also a very cool store for the musicians in your life. I feel sorry for Ulta, as not a week goes by that you don't hear they've been shoplifted again. Thank goodness the police will occasionally wait in the parking lot for the unwanted guests.”
“This place is the best Starbucks in the north shore! Anna and Oliva are the two best employees that carries this store! They are friendly, helpful, courteous and make the trip worthwhile! On a hard day, I come in greeted with a smile and kindness and the best Barista! Without these two , the place will probably close!”
“Gurnee Mills is such a solid mall — always clean and packed with options. There are tons of stores and restaurants, so whether you’re shopping for clothes, grabbing a bite, or just walking around, you’ll find something to do. I love that it’s more than just shopping too. There’s an ice rink, an arcade, and even a movie theater, so you can easily turn it into a full day of fun. It’s especially great if you’re with family or a group because everyone can kind of do their own thing and meet back up. Plus, it’s conveniently located near other stores and even Six Flags, which makes it perfect if you’re making a whole day (or weekend) out of being in Gurnee. Definitely one of the best malls in the area!”

“While there have been a few relatively recent vacancies in the mall, entirely due to covid and those businesses not being able to make it through to the other side, I know the management will have new merchants filling in the gaps in no time. I really enjoy shopping at the grocery store for their quality and selection, as well as the consistently high level of cleanliness throughout the entire store! I've also needed to buy a few things at one time or another from the medical supply store, be it for myself, family, or friends, and always am amazed at the variety of products available in stock, as well as their ability to special order something for you and have it in hand the next day! I could keep going about the other tenants and the great experience I've had with each, but in the interest of brevity I'll stop and instead encourage you to visit the selection of stores and see what I've been saying! ??”
“The Riverside Plaza Shopping Center is in a great location and has a lot of great stores and I always find plenty of places to park and the place is always kept extremely clean and the lot is kept very well maintained and I will say that I do feel safety is almost never a problem around here.”

“Overlooked, misunderstood gem. It's an old-school mall from the 60s that's repeatedly adapted to the times and community. The mall is kept respectably clean and the personnel who work here are friendly. The vendors are chill and welcoming. I frequent this mall several times monthly and occasionally bring friends and family from out of town. The vibe has never felt unsafe.
There are vacancies, yes, and don't expect the usual mall fare. The merchants here are all family and minority-owned. Many have been here for decades and it's a great place for launching a startup. Food options rule (try the elotes at Pollo Rico, or churros at Ortiz). The dollar store is a trip. Cash is king. Lot of community events every month with local/handmade vendors, live entertainment, car shows and even more food (look for the tamales). The theater is running again by local artists -- it hosts local music, indie film festivals, podcast recordings and shows free throwback movies a few times a month.
Ignore the racists. This mall rules and people do care for it.”
“We visited this place for the first time, namely, we visited Goodwill and were very pleased. They bought shorts and three T-shirts for my husband in different sizes and they all suit him very well. The eldest daughter found herself a cute light blue blouse, and the youngest daughter found a Lego train and a ball to develop fine motor skills. I bought myself two shorts - some to wear at home, the other to go to the gym or for a run, as well as five T-shirts, one blouse and a sweatshirt with a hood. All of these things started costing between $2.99 and $6.99.”

They not only were able to send his division group photo but also his single photo in only 2 weeks after ordering. “Nice place, spacious and with good seats, we were explained at beginning that there is no sharing of food if order "all you can eat sushi" which seems be fine. But, seen at our next table, a couple on a date, shared their food! The taste of their sushi was good to excellent but there were at least 6 sushi chefs, each preparing food items differently. One of our orders was exactly the same, but it turned out looking differently. One sushi was round based with thicker fish pieces, the other has a triangle shape rice based with longer and thinner sushi! We waited a longer while in between orders, maybe the sushi chefs were busy. We gave the same percentage of tips to the waitress as if we were in all dine out place, despite of long wait in between orders.”
