Beautiful park with a creek and several bridges. It has gravel paths, picnic places and a playground. Decent birding spot. I frequently go cross country skiing there (ungroomed trails.)

Don’t expect to see Heron but beautiful forest preserve with a lot of small birds. Trails are very well maintained.
