“Joey and I got married this past weekend at Meyer’s Castle! The venue was beautiful, everything ran smoothly, the peacocks were out, and the food was great! Eva was our day of coordinator and she did an amazing job helping us plan, setting up decorations, had some great suggestions, and was very personable. Eva was so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we had water and got cake during the reception while we were out dancing and celebrating. She was very motherly and it was truly the best night of our lives thanks to Eva and Meyer’s Castle!”

“Attended a wedding reception. Spacious venue. Beautifully decorated. Food was delicious. Servers attentive to serving food family style. The food was served hot! That's incredible with guest attendance of about 300. Parking plentiful. Easy to find off Route 30 or 394 depending on the direction you're coming from. Spacious area around the tables and along the sides too. Room for photo booth type.”

“I had the absolute best wedding experience working with Lisa and all the staff at the knights of Columbus! My wedding ceremony and reception was held here and it was a beautiful rental venue and perfect for the vibe I was going for, simple and relaxed yet an elegant and timeless look. 20/10, highly recommend!”
“We had our Tri Kappa Christmas party here and it couldn't have went any better!! The space was perfect for what we needed, the food was amazing, and Jeremy and Jacob answered my 8,000 questions with no hesitation! Definitely recommend the Bankquet and the food from Pepinos!!”
“I belonged to the Griffith IWLA back in 1950s when this was a swamp and the dirt was sold to excavators for the expressway s that was being built at that time in Northern Indiana. My brother Tom and I set trap for the trap shooters year round. We used to set turtle lines and caught many snapping turtles. Some were so big, they could bend and pull the metal stakes out of the ground. I could go on for a long time about the Ikes, it was my home away from home for many years. I loved the Griffith IWLA.”
“Went here for a work Christmas party and it was very nice. The food was excellent, but they don’t have a lot of servers so it takes a long time to get things. We asked for rolls at the beginning of dinner and didn’t get them until dinner was over. Little things like that or what make the difference. Overall, the staff did a great job considering there was only two for 85 people.”
“My husband and I celebrated our vow renewal here just a couple of weekends ago. Manuel had amazing communication and was very easy to work with. The space itself is surprisingly Big and we fit 100 guests more than comfortably. There were more than enough tables and chairs provided for us. The price to rent was a blessing! We were able to decorate the day before which was a major plus for us. We partied up until 11:30 and we weren't rushed which I really appreciated. Manuel made sure that my wedding cake was handled with care too upon delivery. His volunteers also helped us get some last minute things done before the wedding which was also very much appreciated by us. I want to recommend the decorator he works closely with as she did an amazing job transforming the space for us as well as catering the event. Her name is Norma. All in all we'd definitely come back for future events.”
“I went here for my birthday just to get away it was amazing customer service was top tier Carmen was excellent as the chef she did great preparing the food I do not remember the man’s name at the desk but he definitely gave me a welcome and the other staff I would definitely recommend coming here again”

Angle is so nice, pleasant, and understanding I mean her heart is GOLD. I booked my daughter baby shower I was out done with the decor. One of my guest walked in and cried because the place was decorated so beautifully I pray that God bless Angel and her business the same way she blessed me and my family. So PLEASE BOOK! ❤️❤️”

“This is the Jewel of Dolton. I attended my Bruh in law's birthday party at Chucks. I didn't know what to expect. This casual neighborhood establishment turned into a fantastic night! Wow! I was impressed and underdressed!, The decor was laid out to the nines. I though I was attending a wedding not a birthday party. If this is what they do for birhdays... I can't imagine what theyll do for weddings! The music was kickin' and not overpowering, the food was de lish us! I just might host my next event here. The booking agent was pleasant, thoughtful and hospitable. She had all the right answers to my scheduling questions. It was indeed a most entertaining and surprisingly pleasant experience. “There were 6 of us who went on a Saturday evening 8:30pm reservation (highly recommended). Once inside, the music was jamming and there was a LIVE band. The food was delicious. I ordered red beans and rice, sweet potatoes , fried catfish and cornbread. Absolutely delicious!!!!! And the tequila sunrise mimosa - OMG. This will not be my last visit.”

“Social Hall Venue was the perfect place for the baby shower we attended! The venue is absolutely stunning. It's brand new, beautifully designed, spotless, and even has that fresh new paint smell. The space is the perfect size, cozy and inviting without feeling too small or too large.
The location couldn't be better, especially for our family coming from Illinois. It was easy for everyone to get to, and the large, free parking lot made everything even more convenient.
The owners and staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and wonderful to work with as my sister planned the event. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We highly recommend Social Hall Venue for any special occasion!”
