“My family and I really enjoyed our stay overall here. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a breakfast crew employee who seemed to get on my case for wanting to fill my personal water bottle with the cold water in the breakfast area. It was during breakfast hours so the area was open. There was no line for the machine. If there was, I would've waited until there wasn't one, but she saw fit to remind me that there is a fountain just for water bottles next to the lobby restrooms. I told her I was aware, but it's not cold and I would very much like cold water. Unless there's some social rule (I'm autistic) that I'm unaware of, I don't know why this employee felt the need to talk to me about it. Every other part of our stay was amazing.”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE! I am staying here now. How can I be so enthusiastic over a humble Home2? It's because I've stayed here several times over the years, and this hotel is CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING. The rooms are clean, the hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that Home2 hotels have coffee and tea in the lobby all day long. The lobby is a wam and inviting place to work on your laptop.

To note: a good amount of sailors and families stay here for Navy graduation, so there is more noise and activity in the hotel on graduation days, but no loud partying or anything excessive. It's heartwarming to see the new sailors and their families celebrating!”

“Location was in a safe area. The area was like an industrial parkway with businesses off road. A few miles out and there were restaurants. The room fit 8 family members: 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 4 children. Free breakfast was good, and we ate outside one of the two days. The free parking outfront was convenient. The 2nd. days towels requested and bedding for the couch were provided with out insident. Staff even carried them up for me. I ordered dinner delivered one night and next night went out. Two days and the only complaint would be the pool didn't smell good. The bathtub felt soft below my feet. I found a bug by the elevator. Otherwise stay was good.”

“I am writing a review because of the experience we had with Janice, a representative who we interacted on the phone with to request help with an out of the ordinary circumstance at the Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire, Illinois. We had originally booked a stay to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday, but she suffered a serious leg injury that left us uncertain about whether we'd be able to make the trip.

Every time I called with another question about our stay, she greeted me with kindness, patience, and a genuine concern. She is exactly the kind of person you hope is running the front desk and in charge of training others. It's been a rough week for our family but her kindness just really stood out in a dark moment for us.
