“I’ve come here for years. The whole staff is absolutely amazing :) if you get Brooke, Dave, Quinn, or Sarah you’re in good hands! I look forward to seeing them. I don’t believe the bad reviews. Please keep in mind your insurance is the issue 9 times out of 10. Not this amazing staff. They even try to work it out so you don’t, that’s hard to find. They either get it done or have a solid solution to the issue. Sometimes you have to wait, period. Unless you want to pay with a discount card. No need to be ignorant and berate the staff. I even have meds that are order only and they get them the next day every time. Truly the best pharmacy around! I’ll be forever grateful to all of them! 10/10”

“At the risk of spilling the beans, this pharmacy is one of the best kept secrets in Lake County and potentially the whole Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. After visiting several Walgreens and CVS pharmacies in the area--all of which were highly dysfunctional, overworked, and incompetent--I started going to Sam's Club Gurnee. Often there is no wait, and if there is one it's miniscule. The employees are kind, they'll pick up the phone if you call, and the prices are good. Very possibly you don't have to be a member to go here. I have no idea why more people don't use this pharmacy. Somebody needs to do a case study figuring how this pharmacy has managed to stay light years ahead of other chains. Better employee pay? Not open on Sundays? Being tucked away in a corner? Lack of advertising? Requiring customers to walk a ways from the parking lot?”

“This is my go to store because it is so close to my home And we have limited options in our area. I like the store ... my only complaint is some of the checkers are very unfriendly and unprofessional while others are fine. I have had several checkers who are younger that don't even recognize the fact that you are even there and seem tortured. I showed a discount card to a girl and I asked if she needed to see it and she said "I see it" then at the end didn't take off the $5 she SAID SHE SAW (in a very rude manner). One other checker adult male is the opposite... so busy talking and trying to be funny the entire time which makes me very uncomfortable. I think this location needs to focus on training the staff a bit more.”

“I just received the best customer service at the pharmacy. The pharmacist was sweet and caring. Went out of my way to help me find my cat syringes that I needed to administer some medicine this evening. Even the tech tried to make a phone call to her sister who was a vet tech. A team that goes above and beyond for people!! I could really feel the warmth and the team dynamic behind that desk!”

“I never have problems at this store. I switched to Jewel because CVS and Walgreens are an expensive mess that often have lines wrapped around the store, and the CVS even handed me someone else's pills one day.
I just got tired of the high prices, staffing issues, store closures, and unprofessionalism at the other pharmacies.
I can't for the life of me figure out how they lose money selling pills that sometimes cost thousands of dollars a bottle.
Anyway, I've always had on time accurate prescriptions at lower cost at Jewel-Osco and their staff is friendly.”

“Soooo much easier than calling Walgreens or Walmart. I just called so easy to find the Jewel Osco pharmacy near my home on Google. The Osco had pharmacy had already closed but still answered my call. I thought why call sense hours posted padt time closed. The staff pharmacy answered and told me immediate where item OTC i needed plus he told me that the Jewel evening time now open later so I could get dinner and other family evening for night I could still pick up my item all way til midnight. The staff member was so friendly and super nice. What impressed me was when I previously called in past of 2 stores I mentioned above usually make me feel to wind up so frustrated but with the Osco guy tonight gave me like a smile and calm. Thank you!”

“I recently went to Gurnee and I decided to buy some groceries and I ended up in this place. It is my first time at this location of Sam's Club and nothing is really different. The parking is wide and spacious. The store was so busy, but the cleanliness of the whole place was still maintained. I chose this place for my groceries, and the main reason is that they have a great selection of literally everything that I needed. They also have better prices. They have a wide and fresh selection of produce. There are a variety of options for snacks, and my favorites are available. I also went to the liquor section, where I found a wide selection of different liquors, and I could just choose anything I wanted. The 818 drink, which I think is kind of famous now, is also available, and I never tried it, which made me buy one. There are no worries when it comes to the stocks in this place because there are a lot of stocks, or more like unlimited stocks, for everything. I was about to go to the checkout when I felt famished, and the good thing is that there are foods available inside. I bought a hot dog and a brownie sundae, which were definitely delicious. There was a long line at the checkout, but it did not frustrate me a lot after eating some good food before proceeding in there.”

I had a late night prescription filled for pain and when I got there just 15 minutes before close, they informed me that my doctor sent it to the wrong pharmacy. “I can say that my experience in this store is a hit or miss because there are times that my experience is good and there are also times that it is not. The store carries a ton of stuff and everything that I could ever want and need, from groceries to clothes, home goods, etc. The store is also spacious enough and it has a nice layout where everything is easy to find. I wanted to start with their groceries. Their grocery products are great. There are a variety of choices. The products are also fresh and the quality is good. However, the stocks are not maintained. There are times when specific items are out of stock, which is very disappointing, especially when they are products that I desperately need. That is one of the problems I faced in this store. Other products are well-stocked, but there have been times when I couldn't find what I was looking for because it was already out of stock. Meanwhile, I do not have any problems with the bread the store carries because they have all the particular brands I wanted and I could think of. I also think that they have all the great brands. Prices are fair and reasonable here. They do not go higher and if they do, they only have a few differences, which is great and also the reason why I like this store. Their prices are reasonable, and they usually have lower prices than any other store. Service here is pretty nice too. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are always attentive whenever I want to ask something or anything, and they are always glad to help.”
“It pains me to leave a good review for the evil Walmart (the Walton family is worth over $100 billion and they have that because of employees working at their stores making $9hr) but I digress.So this review is strictly about the employees at the Gurnee Walmart Pharmacy and not Walmart as a corporation.For years I’ve gone to the Gurnee Walmart pharmacy and have always been greeted quickly and respectfully and observed other customers being treated well too.All interactions as far as getting my calls answered and the pharmacy calling my doctor for refills and any other functions by the employees at the pharmacy has been excellent.I believe the manager is named Yana and she’s always been very good to me.”
