About The Morton Arboretum
The Morton Arboretum is a beautiful, internationally recognized tree-focused botanical garden and research center. It is a great place for photography, to walk, to hike, and to get away from it all across its 1,700 acres and 16 miles of trails. Visitors can enjoy picturesque exhibitions, a maze garden, an award-winning Children’s Garden, and the Lake Marmo area with fish and frogs. The holiday light show with music and lasers is a fantastic event for dates, families, and friends, often featuring bonfires, hot chocolate, and beverages. The Ginkgo Restaurant and Café offers very decent food in a large dining room. The super friendly and courteous staff are dedicated to making special events like weddings go smoothly. With timed entry, admission includes parking, though some areas have limited spots. It is recommended to visit on a weekday to avoid crowds.

Beautiful scenery, but the traffic noise does take away from the serenity.
