“I came down to RP Lumber in Litchfield not to purchase any building materials but to retrieve a young racing pigeon who got lost and found itself down in Litchfield at the RP Lumber store. The staff could have shooed it away, ignored it or even worse hurt it. They instead were able to catch it due to it being very weak since it had been lost for over a week with no food or water. They fed it and took care of it and then took the time and effort to research on the internet on how to locate the owner by its registered band number. Kindness to animals no matter how insignificant to others shows a direct reflection of the compassion of the people who took the time to help. To me these are the type of people who I would want to be associated and due business with. I want to thank the staff there very much for their help and kindness and let you know the pigeon is doing well!!
