“My fur baby only gets food and treats from here. Why? Our previous fur baby had Cushings and thanks to meds, and good advice from staff here, she lived a long, full life. They even made me a memorial picture of her. Current fur baby is entitled to the same treatment. She is a picky eater, and they have worked with us to find food she will eat most of the time.”

“We started coming here after the service and availability of our local vet went stale. Each visit is so nice here, staff are always friendly and seem genuinely excited to see our pet (and us), the techs are very informative and the doctors have such great personalities. This place will be here forever if they choose because it's the best vet I've experienced in this area in my 15 years in plainfield.”

“This was our first time at JTAC. We walked into the front door and were greeted by a very friendly staff. The facility was very clean. We walked in the back by the dogs, the pens were clean and Paula was tending to the animals. She introduced herself and patiently answered our questions. Paula offered to help introduce us to a puppy we were inquiring about. During our introduction, we decided we would like to adopt the puppy and Paula helped us through the entire process. Prior the bringing the puppy home, she was required to be spayed. Paula explained the procedure, what we should expect, and gave us some very excellent advice on how to help our puppy before and after her surgery. I can’t thank Paula enough. If you’re looking for a pet, don’t pass by JTAC, and ask for Paula!!”
“Brian was so incredibly helpful. He patiently tested my water, found the issue, and gave me advice that saved my beloved fish. And there was zero charge for all of that - theyre happy to help you with their expertise for free bc they also love the hobby. Pic of the lil clown fish (~2.5") he saved”
“We adopted our sweet Bodie there 4 years ago and I am grateful everyday that we did. I know a lot of the reviews talk about how they are shooed away due to needing an appointment. I think that is the best practice! So many people (such as the people who had our boy before us) just buy a puppy on a whim or adopt a dog without thinking of the responsibility. I like that WCHS has a rigorous process to adopt to be able to make sure all of their dogs go to the BEST homes.
I am thankful that WCHS took our boy in and I often tear up thinking that someone surrendered him, but man am I glad they did!”
“I boarded my dog for the first time at petsmart this weekend because my vet was completely booked and didn’t have room for my pup. I was a little hesitant at first to go somewhere new but I just went with it bc I figured why not give it a shot. When I dropped my dog off the staff was so tentative. They made sure any questions I had they answered. The next morning when I picked up my pup I walked past the group play room and saw my little guy living his best life. He was so excited to socialize with the other dogs and he looked like he was so happy. After just one day of staying at the pet hotel, the staff knew Lucky by name and told me how much of a funny little guy he was. They truly made me feel so comfortable and my little dog mom heart was so full. Lucky will definitely be back to see all his new human and doggy friends!”
