Berland's House of Tools in Lombard is an amazing place for tools, especially high-end and specialty tools. The store stocks only quality tools with hardly any junk. It has so many tools, far better than chain stores, and is the first to stock some specific brands. If a specific hard-to-find tool is needed, they almost certainly have it. The experience can be awesome, with staff that is most of the time knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They provide good service, keeping customers in the loop. However, they are more expensive than other stores, so shopping around is advised. The store has most of what one is looking for, but price is an important consideration. For anyone looking for tools for any trade, it is a recommended visit.
