The man I spoke to while I was there nerded out with me over laserdiscs and that was the most fun I had in a while. The prices from what I bought were absolutely amazing. “I ordered 4 puzzles and the packaging was fantastic, even after the delivery driver tossed the box at least 20 feet to deliver it, we are one of his last stops on his route. The exterior box was dented, but the puzzle boxes were not. I will definitely order again from this company. Thank you.”

“A fun bookstore with every title you can imagine. I loved the different book set ups in the kids area. They also have a train station table which my daughter loves. My only feedback is I wish they had more areas to sit down and read a few of the books. My toddler brought back a stack of books she wanted to flip through. We made it work and found a spot on the floor. I highly recommend Anderson's, I can't wait to be back solo to check out other titles.”

“I loved that it has that" old books" smell. For me personally, I love that. But here I feel it's not very overwhelming. You get a hint of it. To be honest, It didn't look like a typical second hand bookstore! The shelves are clean and neat and well ordered. It is very much organised and you can easily browse..there are also chairs to sit on. Will definitely be back! I got a surprise set of books that I found quite worth the price! There are also free books at the entrance on the left”

“I visited the store and found a nice set of history books that are well over a century old. Each book was listed at $10. One of the books had damaged binding. I decided to try my luck and ask if I could get a discount on that book, and the manager pleasantly agreed and offered $5 / 50% off the book. Im very grateful for that! Thank you! “Barbara's bookstore is a great place to grab a book or magazine or gift for someone while traveling traveling through Chicago's O'Hare airport. The staff at these bookstores are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in regards to All things relating to books! They have a computer system and can look all the books they have. I also appreciate they have helpful items for kids like drawing books, markers colored pencils. I had to stop here because I forgot my reading glasses and they had a wide selection to choose from.”

“When my son Joshua was receiving his first Holy Communion I needed to get a very special rosary beads for him and a prayer book . I ordered eveything over the phone with Sue and she was absolutely amazing and helped me pick the perfect items. In addition she also included in my order, completely free of charge, the most beautiful little wooden box/chest medal and rosary holder with a bible inscription from the book of Joshua. Everything arrived safely and was packaged beautifully. Sue will go above and beyond the call of duty to get the exact item one describes and if she does not have it in stock she will order it for you immediately. This is definitely the place to visit when you need that most unusual item. Quite frankly if I could give a 6 Star review I would do so with pleasure!!!”

“Very big clean store, the guy at the door was pleasant, the store looked nice, but I was there for the arcade, there was plenty of booths, and bystanders around, I felt uncomfortable as the arcade area is too bright for me, I almost felt like I was in the spotlight I feel the area should be a little less lit and have more discretion. I may go back and enjoy the booths which I went in the first place and wiped out”

“This is a good store to go to if you’re shopping for calendars. Make sure you go when they are heavily discounted. I went today and it was 75% off. We were able to get two calendars for $6.73. Besides calendars, they also have puzzles, board games, etc. I recommend checking them out. Just a FYI, they do open later than some of the other stores. On Sundays, they opened at noon. Service was good. It’s located close to the kiddie haircut place.”
