“Overall, I was very satisfied with the service I received at Warren Barr. The aides and nurses, CNA and also administration persons were very helpful and I enjoyed working with them all. The one negative exception was that some of the people felt that their duty to you was more important than anything else. Therefore I should stop doing what I was doing and address myself to what they want me to do. But I would highly recommend Warren Barr to all. I certainly enjoyed playing Bingo and blackjack and the entertainment that was performed was very good and entertaining.”

“I rarely go to this location but I walked in last Thursday at lunch to see if the had Covid boosters available. They did! It was pretty busy, so I truly feel for the pharmacy staff. They were so friendly and patient despite how busy they were. They managed to squeeze me in and the woman who was doing all the shots was SO NICE. I don't know how she was still that friendly, reassuring and professional. I would have been so frazzled. Also I barely felt anything, she was clearly great at her job.This is an unconventional review for me, I mostly focus on food. But I was very grateful for this positive experience in these trying times.Also I got a 20% off coupon! #winning! You have to stay in the store for 10 min after but they say you can shop if you want, I just browsed the books and found a sweet ride nearby. But I'll be back to Jewel for some groceries for sure!”

“This is our main store we shop at. Is it busy on the weekend, yes, but we avoid weekends and never have an issue with lines. There is never a shortage on food or products and if you need something there is always staff to help. It's a very clean store and clean bathrooms. The customer service has always been solid and professional. The membership is worth the price even for someone who doesn't regularly shop in bulk. The Costco return policy is one of the best in the shopping industry.”

“I ***AAAALMOOOOST*** don't want to even review this pharmacy positively, and thought about leaving several different accounts' worth of scathing reviews, touching on every important issue to a pharmacy customer — JUST to drive other customers away from this one in the very selfish and personal interest of increasing odds that they will ALWAYS have the medications I need in stock and that I'd always be first in line to get them, etc. But it just wouldn't be fair to deprive the rest of the region, and anyone who wants or needs an incredible pharmacy team to take care of them and their family's pharm needs.Get this, too, okay — I hate Big Pharma, first of all. I've got theories about Big Brother having their nosy little hands in and on everything we consume and if there's a way to slip anything "extra" and covertly experimental into a medication and let it loose amongst the general population, I refuse to believe we don't unknowingly fall victim to this kind of thing. Point being, I'm not a fan of pharmacies, etc. But, these folks have SEEMED to be the most "in the know" about stuff that any pharmacist could be, and I feel like they give acceptably honest answers for the issues and concerns I raise. Being super nice, reliable, and good communicators doesn't hurt though, either. So that's nice. ?”

“Went in Keefer’s tonight last minute needing a compound pharmacy for a prescription. My gosh, these people are AMAZING!!! Husband was released from hospital late in the day and we are from out of town and he needed this prescription. I gave them the prescription and they were comforting and assured me that they would rush it and have it ready for us. And they did and they could not have been more kind and more helpful. “This is my go to store because it is so close to my home And we have limited options in our area. I like the store ... my only complaint is some of the checkers are very unfriendly and unprofessional while others are fine. I have had several checkers who are younger that don't even recognize the fact that you are even there and seem tortured. I showed a discount card to a girl and I asked if she needed to see it and she said "I see it" then at the end didn't take off the $5 she SAID SHE SAW (in a very rude manner). One other checker adult male is the opposite... so busy talking and trying to be funny the entire time which makes me very uncomfortable. I think this location needs to focus on training the staff a bit more.”

“Switched to this CVS pharmacy based on positive online reviews. I have not been disappointed. Great drive thru service. Competent and friendly staff. Clean and well managed store. Previously used Walgreens, but their pharmacy services have become a disaster. Walgreens would mysteriously cancel my refills and never contacted my provider when a new prescription was required. Also impossible to talk to anyone in Walgreens stores. Endless hold times and then you’re disconnected. Glad I switched to CVS.”

“My visit on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, was very pleasant. All the staff are very friendly and polite and it seems like a great group of people working together. I saw some of their regular customers come in and the way they interacted with their regulars. I am not a regular customer at the Lake Zurich Walgreens but I was just as impressed. Even despite an issue with their check out machines, they improvised and checked people out at the pharmacy checkout instead! Good experience!”

“Recently I had to change pharmacies because my insurance changed and no longer considered my old pharmacy as in-network. So I did some research and found this Osco close to me with decent reviews. It is in-network on my new insurance. Other pharmacies in the area were also in-network but had questionable reviews (and I know one of those companies - a big chain store - is having problems with store closings. So this was Osco was one of my best options). It’s always hard to make a change and you never know if the reviews are accurate. I am so pleased with this pharmacy. The people on the phone at this Osco were very helpful. I didn’t have to go in to make arrangements for prescription transfers - they took my name, birthday, address and the name, phone number and address of my other pharmacy. They didn’t even need to know my new insurance info because they have the technology to find me in some kind of online system and see my new insurance. When I went to pick up my medications, all 6 prescriptions had transferred easily. On their own, Osco folks had checked for the cheapest costs, whether through my new insurance or through another like GoodRx. 4 prescriptions were covered with the cheapest prices on my new insurance but 2 were more expensive so Osco automatically applied a discount through another provider. This never happened at my old pharmacy- if it wasn’t covered by my old insurance the old pharmacy wouldn’t even tell me it was available through something like GoodRx for less. I’d either have to bring in a code or pay full price. This Osco checked for me automatically. I was also impressed with the speed and efficiency of the staff at the counter. There was a line of 3 people ahead of me, but it went quickly. And there were probably 4 or 5 staff on hand filling orders behind the counter. And the checkout person was very friendly. Overall I’m super impressed with this Osco. The only downside is there is no drive-through. But it’s worth it I think to have to go inside for this kind of exceptional service. I’m not a huge fan of the particular Jewel store in which this Osco is - it’s not bad, just not as big with as many choices as other Jewels in the area - but I do go to this Jewel fairly frequently as it is close and decent. But since I only need to go once a month or once in 3 months to pick up prescriptions, I’m happy to go inside. I didn’t have any problems with reaching someone on the phone, as other reviews had mentioned. I got the sense that these Osco workers are well-trained, and care about their customers / patients. I would highly recommend this pharmacy at this location.”
