“Brother's Field is a local gem of a hang out. Jesse and Aaron are the epitome of customer service, greeting every guest, and making them feel welcome. I, as most guests, wish this was a year round venue.”
“From the start to the very end, Doug and his crew ran a 1st Class, child and family-centric party. We were greeted at the car and Doug and his crew got out all of the party items and set everything up. Doug carefully explained how the party was going to go for my 7 y/o and 23 of his friends and relatives. Doug has an amazing way with children, keeping them having fun while staying disciplined. The Kayak carrying to the birthday cake and the sword cutting of the cake are special experiences my child is still talking about. Doug and his crew did everything, served all of the food, drinks, snacks, and cake. At the end, Doug and his crew took care of everything yet again and helped carry everything out for the day. Doug's dedication to serving others shows in every single thing he does with Hot Ground Gym. Knowing that he served our country in the Marines made the decision to choose Hot Ground Gym for my son's birthday party that much better. Thanks Doug!”

“We had my son’s 6th birthday party here. It was amazing! Sam was so wonderful to work with. From the second I drove up to the facility they were there to meet me with a cart and bring up our items. The party went seamlessly. They handled everything and it was so well structured! All the kids had a blast! Highly recommend having your party here. (Our ages ranged from 5-9 for the party if that helps! And they all thoroughly enjoyed it and were able to participate in the obstacles).
… Also— my son was THRILLED he got to cut his cake with a real sword! So cool’”

“We had such a wonderful birthday party experience at Bottle & Bottega in Arlington Heights!
The kids painted beautiful pictures, made their own slime, had pizza, and everyone had so much fun from beginning to end.
A very special thank you to Chris and Gio for making the party so fun, welcoming, and organized. They were amazing with the kids and helped make the day very special.
If you are looking for a great place to celebrate a birthday or just spend quality time with family and friends, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Highly recommended!”
“This venue is gorgeous, and the service is incredible. Bergen was an amazing coordinator for us. Great communication throughout the planning process. She always got back to us with answers to questions. On the day of our wedding she helped to make sure everything was set up impeccably. When you book this venue you are required to have the decor/floral provided by Yanni Design Studios. Keith is the designer we worked with. Keith was awesome in helping the vision I had in mind become reality. Keith and Bergen were also great at giving us advice or tips. Weddings are also very expensive and the team we worked with were very respectful of our budget and were not pushy about upselling us. We had visited other venues where we dealt with this issue. I would recommend Canvas to everyone. Many of our guests said that our event was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to.”

“Raajan and Lakshmi selected this amazing venue for their Wedding and Reception. Everything was perfect including the venue, decorations and amenities. Janet went above and beyond our expectations and provided outstanding support to our families. She set up a separate room for my daughter’s new baby. Janet set up the room such that my daughter could watch the events and participate where she could. Our guests were extremely pleased with how everything was set up and went. The staff at Stonegate was also extremely gracious and helpful.”

“This is one of my favorite places to walk. Everyone around the park are very friendly. People wave and say hi and are very helpful if they think you may be in trouble. I had and issue with my bike once and 20+ people stopped to see if they could help. It's free for Lake County residents and I think about $5 for non- residents. Since the pandemic they have not been collecting fees. It's been free for everyone for awhile. I am not sure if this will change soon or continue to be free.
Update 7/26/26 : This is still one of my favorite walking places. However I don't visit as much as I used to as some of the birds during their mating season have had it out for me. I have been attacked from above 8-9 times over the last couple years. I used to go 4-5 times a week and now only a couple times a month because it is a little annoying. I try and go now at the end of July through the fall because it is safer for the top of my head.”

Sharon, the house manager, was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. “We utilized The Forester for a large (20+) corporate workshop and the experience was excellent - rooms were set up with necessary A/V needs, and they had onsite help for the hiccups. “I had my daughter's baby shower at Metropolis Ballroom this past weekend and it was everything my daughter hoped for. I worked with Lauren and Taylor J who did a phenomenal job! Lauren was so helpful with ideas for setting up the room and food suggestions. When it came to the day of the shower Taylor was right there helping and made sure everything was perfect! “This golf course is hidden away in a park. There's plenty of parking and you can relax looking by the lake. Whether you want to take a stroll, sit under the covered benches, or take out a paddle boat, you'll enjoy the peace and tranquility this site offers. Great for strollers, do walking, There's also a tennis and pickle ball courts down the street.”
“Shelly and the team at The Birchstone helped us out at the last minute when the venue we had booked cancelled on us two months before the wedding date. We had a micro wedding of only 32 guests so I was hesitant regarding the spaces feeling too large. After visiting the site, I knew right away that it was perfect! They had two smaller spaces that accommodated our group perfectly: one for cocktails and one for the dinner. They also had an outdoor courtyard for the ceremony which was beautiful surrounded by natural greenery and vines. The ceremony space felt beautiful and private.
Shelly made everything feel so special. The food was amazing, the staff were gracious and helpful and the space itself was just perfect! It was beyond my expectations and came together in such a short period of time.
I highly recommend Shelly's work at The Birchstone with Pear Tree Catering for any special event, whether a small event like ours of 32 people or a much larger wedding. The venue had everything we needed and more. (Shelly even pulled out a pool table which was set up perfectly in the back which was a big hit with many of the guests.)”

“I rarely leave reviews, but Sam and his co-manager at Bowlero, they both absolutely deserves recognition’s . From the moment we walked in, they set the tone for a smooth, enjoyable night. They were friendly, patient, and incredibly professional.
When we had an issue, Sam handled it immediately and with real care. He didn’t brush anything off, he took ownership, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was fixed quickly. You don’t see that level of customer service much anymore.
Sam and his associate manager genuinely made our visit better. They checked in on us, made sure the lanes were good, and treated us like actual valued guests. You can tell they takes pride in the place and in their job.
Bowlero is lucky to have them. Because of these fine people, we’ll definitely be coming back.”
“My wife and I recently had our wedding at Loft 21 a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, the pictures, walk throughs and planning did not do justice to how amazing the venue was.My wife and I are planners and we booked with Loft 21 a year in advance, so you can imagine we had a lot of ideas for our wedding. The planning process with Loft was good, some minor miscommunication, but feel like that will happen anywhere when you're emailing back and forth for that long. We were quickly able to jump on the phone and hash out all the plans and timeline to make everything flow perfectly.Brittni (Operation Lead) did an amazing job for our ceremony and reception and made the day of so easy for us that we did not have to do anything before the wedding, other than setting up our own props. The pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went so smoothly, it's really hard to believe. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Loft 21 to any couple looking to get married in the area.I'd also highly recommend utilizing Loft 21s preferred vendors, specifically H.Y.P.E Media as the owner of Loft also owns them so it made the Music and Production so much easier on us.They allow you to customize pretty much your own event, from lighting to set up to bar package, to pretty much anything you can think of.Thank you again Loft 21, Brittni, Jazmine and everyone else at Loft 21 for making our day so special and easy on us!”

“I had my kids birthday party here. It was cool. The staff was cool. Tobe made the set up simple and was present and responsive. The bathrooms are small. The pizza was good, even though it comes from outside. Price for the party was reasonable and the music was diverse. I'll be back.”

The office Clubhouse is a great space, it's well equipped and it's incredible value compared to any of the chains. Mac is personable, diligent and makes a hell of an espresso! “Such a tremendous wedding venue in the Chicagoland area. The Armour House has a European Old World grandeur that is unmatched. We might as well have been in Italy all day long! I was so impressed and had so much fun playing on the grounds. It's elegant and romantic with plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces for photos. Can't say enough positive things about this stunning wedding venue!

“I rented an office here from April 23-Dec 23. The staff here is fantastic. They are very friendly and will do everything possible to make your stay hospitable and warm. No internet issues, coffee is always great and the other tenants are also pretty amazing. I will wholeheartedly recommend this place and Andres, the community manager is rockstar.”
