She went out of the office to count the cash and deposit the check I wrote and when she came back she informed me I have given her $500 more than the cash I mentioned and what to do about it I told her to put it in my checking account. I was so impressed by her honesty and integrity.. “This is mostly a star rating of the staff at Republic Bank's Berkeley branch...My business has banked here since it was National Bank of Commerce (NBC). The staff was friendly and helpful then, and they are still today. They're just good friendly people doing their best to help bank customers as much and as well as they can, and usually doing so with a cheerful smile and caring demeanor.As far as Republic Bank itself, since they took it over from NBC I have not found them to be a very supportive small business bank ...we now use Itasca Bank when we need help with our small business financing.
