“Visited for the first time recently. Staff was very nice (Mackenzie was an absolute star!) and accommodating. They have you call when you arrive and wait in your car, so you're not sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of stressed pets. The wait wasn't very long and the visit was pretty efficient. They were very willing to provide estimates for services, which was such a relief. It really helped with being able to plan for further care. Also, the building was handicap accessible which is always appreciated.”

“The way we found out about Brookside veterinarian clinic is that we had a very sick dog and a lady in a grocery store told us about Madison Wisconsin the college up there where they have a veterinarian school we went in there and they told us immediately Polo had to stay in there he had to go on intravenous immediately the veterinarian place that we took the dog they didn't even know how to read the test scores which he took I told them where we were taking them they called the place up they faxed the medical test to them they didn't even know how to read them turns out Polo at one day to live and put them on in Venus he was there overnight they saved his life he has Addison's disease and the only place that was qualified to take care of Polo was Dr Dan Damian at Brookside he was recommended by the college add Polo has to get a a pill every day and he has to get a shot once a month that's how we met Dr Dan is an excellent doctor we take our other dog Marco to see him and we take Harley and Memphis to see him he's an excellent doctor he has an excellent staff they're really quite kind and considerate people opposed to the other two veterinarians that we had they were just terrible I don't want to say that their names but they're in the Loves Park area I personally recommend Dr Dan looking at your dog cat whatever I talked to him like he's a friend like I know him I try to get them stuff for Christmas and I try to bring in snacks for the people Tomatoes apples Etc candy they truly are nice people it's almost like a family because your pet is part of the family and I mean it's like your kid you want to do everything you can for him and this guy is at the top of his game he's excellent he does everything so if you're looking for a veterinarian give him a chance just go in there and look at his staff see how friendly and considerate and kind of people are you can tell right off the bat by just talking to the people and just looking at their body language you know they're good people check amount don't think don't think just go there and say hello the right on Riverside next to the Burger King bada bing bada boom yep I talk a lot I am Italian have a good day people out there oh by the way we just had memphis's teeth extracted about 3 years old but his teeth the little dogs their teeth get really they get off not good Dr Dan gave us a considerable discount on this procedure that tells you what kind of person he is in my opinion he cares about your animal thank you Dr Dan”

“I'm sorry this is so late. Should have done this years ago. I got referred to Animal Clinic of Rockford when my original vet's office got hit by a tornado. I was quite timid at first because my family and I had been going to that vet for over 40 years. I don't trust easy when it came to my Dog.

To say my expectations have been met would be an understatement. Dr. Patel and his team are professionals packed with knowledge, care, and compassion.

For the short time (compared to my last vet) of 4 years I had the privilege of taking my Husky to be cared for by Dr. Patel and his team, I absolutely would not take him anywhere else.

His yearly check up was always filled with going through Oscar's chart and making sure we revisit the concerns from previous visits as well as new concerns if there was any. With all the normal stuff, there was also the in depth stuff. He handled my dog's surgery to remove a lump that was bothering him. Which turned out to be cancer after sending it for testing. The team was very compassionate to my nerve racking approach. I will never forget picking my fur-ball up when he was ready. The moment I walked in, I could hear him howling and talking and knew my boy was alright.

Dr. Patel and his team also handled my Dog's euthanasia. He put my baby boy to rest and peace with the utmost respect, care, and compassion. He was very educating every single step of the process.

I wouldn't put my trust in anyone else.

A message to the team. Oscar loved you guys and gals. Every time I asked him if he wanted to go see the Dr. he went nuts! I will miss the interactions Oscar and I shared with you all. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and compassion you showed Oscar. I hope I can change my mind about not wanting another dog. If I do, you'll be the 1st we visit.”

“Dr. Chaudhry is not like most other veterinarians. He truly cares about animals and not doing unnecessary tests & treatments. And very reasonable prices. Maybe we wouldn't have such a epidemic of overfilled shelters and stray & feral cats if more Vets were more like him. People can't afford the care of their pets when they're overcharged and made to believe their beloved pets need so many extra things they push at so many Vets offices. Expensive supplements & dog food to sometimes needless tests & procedures. Especially when people are already emotional over their pets health and make emotional decisions that people can't afford then feel they cannot continue caring for their pets. It shouldn't be just a business. We don't need fancy offices, crafts & candles being sold in the offices either. Basic care and Vets that teach how to care for your pets issues at home that can prevent many illnesses. DR. Chaudhry checks all those boxes in teaching and care. And it's worth mentioning that pet parents also need to be kind and patient with staff...they are working very hard and it's a very emotional & demanding job. I hope more Vets can be more care focused and less business & revenue focused.”

“I moved to Rockford a year ago and this is my new preferred vet clinic. The doctor knows her stuff and really cares about the patient, takes the time to listen to you and examine them to figure out what is going on. Prices are the best in the region, cash or check only, she takes a step by step approach with them instead of loading you up with unnecessary tests. Be aware due to the low cost they are very busy and you will wait, but it is worth it.”

“I would give Dr. Sill and her team 100 stars if I could! Especially Lauren ♥️ We have been going there for about 20 years. Recently we found out our 10 year old lab had osteosarcoma that started with a growth in his toe which led to sometimes two visits a day to change the dressing from the growth that was bleeding non stop. They were so accommodating! We had to ultimately take him to UW Vet clinic and found out he would have had to had his entire leg amputated with some other complications and unfortunately it was in his best interest to lay him to rest. I had my sister-in-law call there at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and they said got here when you can we will wait. They gave us time to bring him home and make our baby a steak and give him lots of other treats and love before we had to make the decision to not put him through all of that pain and torture. I cannot say enough about how sweet Dr. Sill l and her staff were to me and my children and my husband, who unfortunately had to be there via FaceTime. Their love is so genuine and heartfelt and made it just a little bit easier to put our boy to rest. Thank you Dr. Sill and your amazing team ♥️”

“2/5/26 my family and I had to make the hardest decision to have our dog Lokie euthanized he has been part of our life for 15 years. The staff was very respectful and comforting in that time. When it was time the vet came in and explained what was going to happen and we went ahead with it my family and I we're an emotional wreck but what made this clinic a 5 star for me is the vet cried with us. Then to top it all yesterday we received a card with my boy's nose print and words can't describe how greatful I am about that.
