Vanessa, went above and beyond and recognized that I was a veteran, then gave us a veteran discount which we appreciated tremendously. Their facility is beautiful and located in a nice quiet spot that’s very easy to get to and no need to worry about heavy vehicle traffic while taking your animals in. “It was an emergency to bring my pet here. I had a guinea pig. He was 7 years old and was doing really bad. I had a suspicion and they confirmed it. I could tell right away that the stuff cares. The nice feeling when walking in here. I was happy about that. This was my first time in here. They didn't try to do any extra unnecessary tests. Just told me it's cancer.
The way they were holding my pet, gently and with compassion. You don't see that everywhere. They do treat the animals as their own. My decision of course was to put my pet down, he was in pain and I didn't want that for him anymore. I wanted to hold him after the injection was given so he would die in my arms. This is not offered in all animal hospitals. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that I get to hold him and knew he would go peacefully.
I was happy to come here and I highly recommend this hospital.
People say that it's extreme with the prices, but I disagree. I moved in this area from Chicago and those hospitals are expensive. This were regular prices.
I will continue to come here with my other pet.

“A place that cares for your furries like you do. I took my husky pup in for his first shots. He never felt them. Then a couple months later he got his big boy surgery and he was in a lot of pain the next day. I caller them and they helped my pup with his pain. Tysvm”
“I'm so grateful to the Vet and staff who helped me with Max. His abscessed paw looks fabulous and is healing well. He now recognizes antibiotic bottle when it's time for his dose and stubbornly tries to wiggle away with mouth clamped shut, LOL. If only it was salmon or mouse flavored. “We have been rescuing kitty cats for 34 years and have had all that weren't spayed or neutered, taken care of to stop the spread of unwanted kittens and unhealthy Momma cats. Little Kitty is a rescue that took three years to socialize so we could get her in a carrier and get her spayed. Willow Ridge took absolutely wonderful care of Little Kitty and we have never had a cat recover from her spay so quickly, look so good afterward and get back to being a cat so fast! The staff at Willow Ridge is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and patient with "Cat Parents". If you love your kitty, take it for care to Willow Ridge Animal Hospital - you will be very happy you did!”

“Dr Jeannie is very knowledgeable and handled our dog with great care . She surgically extracted a tooth , and another tooth was pulled. She diagnosed both teeth correctly and prescribed antibiotics and pain meds. She also has texted me to check in on her to see how she was doing. I am very grateful for her expertise and her staff for their wonderful care. I highly recommend her and the animal clinics she works for!”
“I would give Dr. Sill and her team 100 stars if I could! Especially Lauren ♥️ We have been going there for about 20 years. Recently we found out our 10 year old lab had osteosarcoma that started with a growth in his toe which led to sometimes two visits a day to change the dressing from the growth that was bleeding non stop. They were so accommodating! We had to ultimately take him to UW Vet clinic and found out he would have had to had his entire leg amputated with some other complications and unfortunately it was in his best interest to lay him to rest. I had my sister-in-law call there at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and they said got here when you can we will wait. They gave us time to bring him home and make our baby a steak and give him lots of other treats and love before we had to make the decision to not put him through all of that pain and torture. I cannot say enough about how sweet Dr. Sill l and her staff were to me and my children and my husband, who unfortunately had to be there via FaceTime. Their love is so genuine and heartfelt and made it just a little bit easier to put our boy to rest. Thank you Dr. Sill and your amazing team ♥️”

“We have a very nervous 80lb pitbull - he is much beloved by the shelter he was rescued from (CACC) but he has a very traumatic history - due to this he is terrified of any medical attention and is very scared of the vet office. When we moved to Rockford, I asked my sorority sister who is a vet to recommend a nearby facility and she recommended Bellwood- I’m so happy she did! We’ve been working with Dr. Jallen over the last year to slowly bring Dooley in for appointments with proper medications and after a year of getting comfortable with the techs, he was actually happy to see them this week and got all his shots, a blood draw and his nails trimmed!
I’m so impressed by their patience, care, and understanding. Pitbulls can get a bad reputation but Dooley is really the sweetest loving guy outside of the scary ”dog-ters” office and I’m really glad they’ve made it as stress free as possible for him.
His sister Leela also sees Dr. Jalen, but she’s an angel and lets you do anything to her. I really appreciate Bellwood for taking care of my babies ?

“I moved to Rockford a year ago and this is my new preferred vet clinic. The doctor knows her stuff and really cares about the patient, takes the time to listen to you and examine them to figure out what is going on. Prices are the best in the region, cash or check only, she takes a step by step approach with them instead of loading you up with unnecessary tests. Be aware due to the low cost they are very busy and you will wait, but it is worth it.”

“Tonight we brought our 10 year old cat Loki to be put down. The receptionist on the phone explained everything and was ready when we arrived. We were able to spend as much time with Loki after she crossed the rainbow bridge. The vet spoke to us and explained the whole process while allowing us to be there with her in her final moments.”

“Visited for the first time recently. Staff was very nice (Mackenzie was an absolute star!) and accommodating. They have you call when you arrive and wait in your car, so you're not sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of stressed pets. The wait wasn't very long and the visit was pretty efficient. They were very willing to provide estimates for services, which was such a relief. It really helped with being able to plan for further care. Also, the building was handicap accessible which is always appreciated.”
