Corner George Inn Bed & Breakfast is a historic and cozy bed and breakfast located in the beautiful, old, and quaint German village of Maeystown, Illinois. Guests can enjoy a wonderful, excellent, and fantastic breakfast. The innkeepers and hosts are very helpful, friendly, and accommodating, assisting with things to do and any special requests. The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting, and peaceful, perfect for a quiet getaway to slow down and escape a busy schedule. The town itself is very walkable, though hilly, with incredible views, a restaurant and coffeehouse across the street, and a General Store for shopping. As a historic building in a very small town, it offers a unique charm. Guests are encouraged to be realistic about its historic nature and any limitations, and to communicate with the helpful host. Many guests love this place and plan to return.
Dave and Marcia are great hosts. Dave is very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast is very good also.

Go back in time, slow down and stay awhile with antique furnishings. Located in an old German town, very quaint. One suggestion would be to try and stay at the guest house around back, its quieter. Absolutely love this place and the town. And the friendliest people around.

This historic place has been lovingly restored for the enjoyment of its guests. The rooms are comfortable . The breakfast is wonderful. I really enjoyed walking the town and shopping in the General Store. The coffeehouse across the street is very enjoyable.
