“Over the last several years, I have brought my 2020 Chevrolet Traverse LT AWD and my 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport to the respective dealerships for routine service and maintenance. I recently brought both of my vehicles to John's Auto Service & Repair for an oil/filter change, brake fluid change, coolant flush, and wheel bearing replacement. In both cases, I was very happy with the quality of work performed, the work was completed in a timely manner, and the cost was very fair. The cherries on top were that the shop was very clean and professional and the Nystrom Boys and their team were very friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to take my vehicles toJohn's Auto Service & Repair for all of my future maintenance needs and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional and honest shop!”

“Excellent small business, better owner. I bought my son a bike for his birthday and needed a shop to assemble for warranty purposes. Adam knew exactly what I was talking about. We brought the bike in and he showed my son (who is fascinated by e-bikes) all the new models and talked about his bike as well. We picked it up the next day and a great price and he walked my son through the little nuances of his new bike. I can not recommend this shop enough, I just wish there were more businesses like his.”

“I looked up this shop after being told by Zabor Auto in Crest Hill that I was needing both rear wheel bearings replaced. I talked to Bill initially about the rear passenger bearing because the rear driver had been replaced, 1k for parts and labor. Bill quoted me a price that was very reasonable, I made it there, they lifted the car, called me in the bay and said, hey, did they show you how bad the tires are. When I saw them I couldn’t believe how in such bad shape they were in. So now I’m looking at the tires, some parts bald, pieces of the belts exposed and all the noise I’m hearing is coming from the rear. So one of their techs, Alex, takes me for a test drive to see if he can hear any bearing noise. The noise we were hearing was primarily from tire wear and tear and broken belts. They checked the wheels again, tires are on the car solid with no play in them at all. So we go with replacing the tires. Once Alex was done with the install he takes the car out. I’m thinking the worst, that not only I’m about to pay for these tires, but I’m still gonna hear this noise. Alex comes in the shop and says that the noise is gone. I pay for the tires, get the key, put the car in gear and merging into traffic and the silence was beautiful. I appreciate them for looking at the obvious issue which were the tires. I don’t understand why the tech at Zabor didn’t look at the tires. This tech has worked on my car before and not once mentioned how bad my tires were and did no troubleshooting on any level. Yeah the tires were more than the bearing but my issue has been resolved. Grateful.”

They gave me the best price. I called around first, and I decided to go with them. Glad that I did, they got me the tires faster than anybody else and installed them with ease very quickly.
They balanced the tires better than all the other shops.I went to through the years.I can clearly feel the way the truck drives on the highway.Especially considering it has mud tires. They've definitely earned my trust and will definitely use them in the future..
One other thing forgot to mention they got me. The white wall tires with the raised white letters. Other places told me it would take a week because it was special order.
I guess it really wasn't a special order with tire tricks.”

“Anthony, the Service Advisor in Rockdale, is great and actually communicates with you during the whole process. It's nice because he knows what he is talking about and explains everything wrong with your car and what needs to be done. I brought my car there on Thursday and picked it up on Tuesday. It was done in a reasonable and quite timely manner. And believe me, I needed alot done! The prices are worth it and fair! The mechanics are also great at what they do. My car drives smoother and runs better! I would recommend Zabor Auto to anyone who needs their car repaired or any type of maintenance. I will most definitely be returning for any future repairs! “This is the best, friendliest, and most reasonable shop I've ever been to! My truck broke an upper ball joint while I was going down 80 and caused major damage. The tow truck company i called actually lined me up with them. I had to have my truck that evening for work and they said no problem. The truck was dropped off around 10 am, and I picked it back up by 4 pm! Tyler, Mike, and the rest of the crew are amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. “Stopped in late morning on a Saturday. Asked if they could custom bend some tubing to my specifications. Discussed the work to be done with a tech, got our terms straight, and he bent the tube. Dropped car off at end of day, they looked at next morning and i got a call regarding initial inspection. By noon and i had a second call with the results of more thorough inspection and the full quote and timeline. Picked up my truck this morning , but will be back in 2 weeks for my quick inspection they want to verify no leaks. Recommend them highly.”

“Great shop. I was traveling through town when my trans went out. I took it to tonys they rebuild it and go me in the road unfortunately I had another issue but tonymade arraignment for the town truck(112 miles away) to pick it up. He covered the cost put a new trans in and never asked for another dime. I would recommend Tony to anyone”

From my initial confessional with Beth informing her of my run-in with a parked car in my own driveway (I swear that guy came outta nowhere haha) to the pain free estimate process. To the way they accommodated me by driving me home. To the way that they only did what was absolutely necessary and least invasive to get my baby back to showroom shine. Hell, it looked better when I picked it up then when I dropped it off.
I am 100% satisfied with their work. Although I hope I never need their services again, there will be no question in my mind that we will bring our cars to Probst. Anyone can fix a car. But it takes a professional to fix it right!”
