“If you told me I would walk into an auto shop and leave in a better mood than when I arrived I would have assumed you hit your head. And yet here I am writing a full blown appreciation post for Karstens like they just saved my car and my emotional stability at the same time.

Let me paint the picture. My car sounded like it was trying to communicate with aliens. Every noise it made felt expensive. I pulled up already preparing my bank account for emotional damage and practicing my “yeah go ahead fix it” voice while silently panicking inside.

Then I walked into Karstens and immediately got thrown off in the best way. People were actually nice. Not fake nice either. Real human nice. The kind where you feel like they are not about to ruin your week financially.

They took a look at my car and somehow figured out what was wrong way faster than I figure out what I want to eat when I am hungry. Then they explained it in a way that made sense. No confusing terms no talking in circles just straight up “here is what is wrong and here is what we are going to do about it.” I almost felt smart for understanding it.

Now here is the part that shocked me. They were honest. Like actually honest. No surprise add ons no mysterious extra problems that magically appear once your car is already in pieces. Just real advice about what needed to be fixed now and what could wait. I kept waiting for the catch and it never came.

The vibe in that place is also different. I was not sitting there feeling awkward or like I was being judged for whatever my car had going on. It felt more like “we got you” energy. At one point I forgot I was even stressed about my car which is honestly impressive.

When I got my car back I swear it felt like it had a personality upgrade. It was quiet smooth and not making any of the weird noises that previously sounded like a drum solo from a haunted garage. I almost apologized to it for doubting it.

And the price did not make me want to lay on the floor and rethink my life so that was another huge win. For the quality of work and how I was treated I was expecting something painful. Instead it felt fair which is rare enough to deserve its own celebration.

Karstens did not just fix my car they fixed my trust issues with auto shops. If your car is acting weird making noises or just existing in a suspicious way do yourself a favor and go there.

They sprayed the rocker panels in raptor (paint matched) took out the dents toched up all paint chips and various other thing (even things we didnt expect them to do).
