“The staff were very nice, the actual work that was done looked great.Just didn't like being misled as to the extent of repairs, only to be treated like I was being dishonest..I have never been in any prior accidents in this vehicle,and had no knowledge of the tail gate ever being off of my truck.. Evidently I was lied to by Clement Dodge Ram in Columbia, Illinois when I purchased the truck.I will say thanks for the touch up paint, because wether you believe it or not ,the ding on the front of the passenger side rear door,was part of the damage that was part of the claim.. Also would have noticed it if they had buffed out the door.I touched it up myself instead of debating it.Next time I will y Shure to have everything in writing before committing to repairs.. Just seemed more worried about maxing out the charges to insurance company, but doing minnimul work, for it... Like I said before though,the actual work done looked great, just didn't like renegotiating what was actually going to get done, until I had already committed to car rental ,and dropped my truck off... That's when everything changed...No longer willing to do other repairs that was verbally agreed to... Wasn't going to give a review, because I am not one for negative remarks, but five days in a row with these damn survey requests...... Enough Already....”

“Excellent work by this machine shop. I needed to get a 305 Chevy Small Block from a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice bored out, and resurfaced. I disassembled everything except for the valvetrain on the head. Wetzel automotive disassembled, machined, then reassembled the head for me. Within about two weeks, everything was ready for pickup. Wetzel Automotive also did a great job in painting the block. After about a year and half, I finally got the engine back in the car and it runs smooth as butter. I highly recommend this shop and will be taking future work to them.”

“I got locked out of my truck in Marissa and when the police broke into it for me, it locked up my security system. Sitting out in the cold with a baby and a truck that wouldn't start, I started freaking. I called my husband but he couldn't get it started either. Out of pure desperation, I googled mechanic shops near me and Ozzies popped up. I called at 4:15 and asked for help and asked how much it would be. They said nothing and they were on their way. An older gentleman showed up and a younger one soon after and they both got to work trying to fix it. Sure enough, the older gentleman was able to reset my security system and she fired right up. I was in the back seat holding a sick baby and could have bawled. I asked them what we owed and I will never forget what he said, " Not a thing. Sometimes you just gotta do something nice for someone." Words cannot express how thankful I am and I will definitely pay it forward and make sure everyone knows what these awesome people did out of the goodness of their hearts.”
