“I love the small, hometown feel this place has. There are so few associates, yet there was one available immediately to help me find a couple things and answer my questions. And then the cashier who was helping another customer was able to pause that to ring me up and get me on my way. Very kind, knowledgeable, and all around helpful!Side note: My 4 year old just had to go see the old truck that's parked inside. He thought that was pretty cool.”

“I was in need of a portable gas-powered generator. I happened to be in Champaign, Illinois during the time the derecho storm came through Northwest Indiana. I live in NW Indiana. There were no portable generators to be found for miles in Northwest Indiana according to my friends and relatives. I ended up going to Mattoon Illinois to the home Depot there after doing some research since I was so far out of town. When I got to the store and to the aisle I needed there was an employee in the aisle. An older gentleman and I told him what I was looking for. He loaded the generator onto the cart and then I told him I needed extension cords and he took me over to that aisle. I got the extension cords I needed and then he escorted me to the register, waited while I paid and got another employee to help him so that it could get loaded into my vehicle. They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. When he found out that I lived in Northwest Indiana and was carting it back he was very concerned and offered me safe travels and prayers and I just really appreciated that so thank you.”
