“I went there to service my Honda Civic. Johnny is the best. He will show you the issue with the car and provide a detailed explanation regarding what is wrong. Additionally, he will provide his honest feedback regarding what your options are. At no point did I feel like he was treating me like a customer to merely profit of off. Rather, he appeared genuine, cordial and felt more like a friend offering advice. I received some estimates prior to going here and none of the other mechanics/shops offered the deal and service they offered. Moreover, the other shops didn't provide the customer care to explain and show the issue along with providing multiple options for repair. “Auto Service 1 is # 1 in my book. I had a wonderful time. I was introduced to Dave the manager who listen to my issues, which was the first for me. He took me the car to listen to the car. Dave is polite, knowledgeable, caring, along with concerns, and he educated you about what he observed on my car by showing on my car. The people there are warm and helpful. “Took my CRX in to get a dyno tune, had some issues with my ECU that I was unaware of and they helped me out tremendously. They put a new ECU on and got the car tuned by the next day. The car car runs great now. Highly recommend, and will use them again when I need a Honda tuned.”

“Aug’24 Update: I dropped my 14 year old car off with Ed and his team after it failed an IL emissions test and I had just 3 days until my registration expired. They had my car fixed the next day, and when I went to go pick up the vehicle, Ed’s Team had already taken it to the Emissions Test Site and gotten it a Passing rating - this meant I could immediately renew my registration online, and meet the expiration deadline.
I was floored by this level of customer service and dedication - in a world that’s increasingly automated, corporatized, and less-personal by the day - trust Ed and Elmhurst Auto Care to take care of YOU and your Vehicle - thanks guys!
Jan’24: Always the best service and I TRUST them. They’ve referred me a weld shop that could do a muffler repair for cheaper than they could. Ed’s stayed past closing to fix power steering issues and get me back on the road. I would highly recommend EAC to be your car maintenance experts!”

“Power Steering went out. 2 mechanic told me I would have to replace my power Steering pump. the hose along with the rack and pinion. Turns out I needed a repair to the hose that a different mechanic damaged and did not clamp it correctly. They saved me thousands of dollars. They are honest and very knowledgeable with Cadillac.
