“What a wonderful boutique! I have always been intimidated by boutiques, but I received a gift card, so I ventured in. The clothing is really nice, most of it can be casual or dressy, depending on the accessories. The jewelry and accessories there are also pretty, with a variety of style options.
The owner was incredibly kind and fun to talk with. She is so knowledgeable about everything in her store, but also about other places I could shop and about local things to do. She had great suggestions, without being pushy in the slightest. She loves what she does, and that made it fun to shop at Black Orchid Boutique. I'll be back, with friends!”

“Went to the store at 7pm on 11/10/25 and was looking to establish a new make-up routine with new products and a complete overhaul from my previous routine. I went to Ulta first and had the worst experience. I was there for over 30 minutes with no assistance from any employee. I made a purchase, mentioned the disappointment at checkout, and left. I ended up at Sephora because I really wasn't sure if what I bought at Ulta is what I needed and use of the products. I was greeted after maybe 5 minutes or so and was offered assistance. I explained the situation to the associate, Brenda, and she offered her help immediately. She helped show me how to apply the products and find the best colors for my features. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful this experience was for me and I really hope they continue checking in that their associates are working with a customer forward mentality because Ulta is not and they could really benefit from their amazing customer service. We spent about an hour figuring out what products I needed for a complete make-up routine and she really listened to what I was looking for. I made the purchase at Sephora with mostly the same products from Ulta and will be returning everything to Ulta. I will shop at this Sephora every day over going to Ulta ever again.”

“I wanted to take a moment to express gratitude and recognition to Jay and Amari for the above and beyond services.
A week ago, Jay was absolutely amazing showing us a half dozen pairs of sunglasses in the display case, in which we bought 2. Super personable and helpful.
Last night, Amari spent time showing us the men’s watches in the display case. Super awesome experience. We ended up buying 3 watches.
Both gentlemen were extremely helpful, kind, patient and just really genuine people.
It’s not often in today’s retail world to have such a great interaction with staff, but having 2 above and beyond, 5 star service from 2 was truly awesome and they deserve the shoutout and recognition.”
